Monistat Soothing Care Powder-Gel Review

I first heard about Monistat's soothing care powder gel from a salesperson at an outdoors store.  The salesperson recommended it to put on your heals before you go hiking to avoid blisters.  I thought they were crazy but I tried it and it worked really well!  The $7 I paid retail for this product was so much nicer than the expensive "no-rub" cream the outdoor store carried. 

I also read on the internet that ladies have been using this cream as a make-up base.  Again, I thought they were crazy but after spending nearly $40 on a brand-name make-up primer, I was willing to invest the $7 necessary to try it.  I have used the expensive primer and the Monistat Soothing Care Powder-Gel interchangeably and I can not tell any difference between the two, my make-up looks fresh through out the day and the textures are almost identical when applying.
