Beautiful but lifting!

1

We bought the Mohawk Rosewood high gloss. It is a beautiful floor and we get lots of compliments. Problem is, I'm finding that it is lifting in a lot of different spots. Kids did spill water but was cleaned up immediately and as time goes by it seems to be lifting more in those areas. I am noticing small areas that are starting to lift that shouldn't be. We almost always don't even wear our shoes on this flooring. Mohawk's warranty says that their laminate flooring is water resistant, but this Rosewood High Gloss is NOT! I did write a complaint to Mohawk and will see what happen's. I had a contractor look at it and he said it was installed perfectly and to contact the company. We went with the higher grade floor and the Mohawk name so we would have a floor to last a very long time, it wasn't cheap. Design Beautiful floor, looks very elegant! Durability Lifting in a lot of different areas. Ease of Installation Easy to install

Mohawk laminate flooring is the best--good quality, low price

We decided to install laminate flooring to replace 20 year old carpet.   It was the best decision we ever made.  The product was inexpensive and the look of our dining room and living room is indescribable.  It makes the whole house look clean and comfortable.  I shopped for flooring for about a month and when I came acoss this flooring, I was impressed by the quality and the ease of installation.  We did over 580 square feet within 2 days.  I can't believe my eyes everytime I look at the floors.  They are easy to take care of--just a dust mop will do it and a quick sponge mop to wash.  We have a husky and he just sheds all over the place but a quick dusting of the floor gets all his hair in one quick sweep.  I just am amazed at how something like a change in flooring can change the whole decor attitude of a home.  I can't wait to do some of the other living spaces in my home with Mohawk Laminate Flooring.

Mohawk Laminate Flooring are brought to you in a wide variety...there are many different colors, woodgrain patterns, and also the ceramic tile look. All of their products are a very good quality, and Mohawk stands behind their product 100%.          I have installed virtually all styles and colors of laminate flooring, but the one brand that stands out the most...is the Mohawk Ceramic tile look laminate. Once you see this product installed properly, and really get a good look at it, you will be amazed! Now on your normal laminate flooring, you will see the lines where the sections join together to give it the "hardwood" look ,where as with the ceramic tile look is almost invisible at its connecting point. As far as durability, Mohawk gives a 25yr limited warranty on craftsmanship ...meaning if there is something wrong with the way it was made then they will replace it. However if this product is not installed properly, and damage results from that, then you are on your own!! So pretty much you should have this installed by a professional, or read the directions!

The Mohawk Laminate flooring is a great solution for hard floors.  Not only was it cheaper than hardwood, it also looks good after 10 months with a 150 pound dog.  One of our main concerns was that it would look worn because of the high traffic areas, but it still looks like new.  It is also easy to clean and there were lots of color options to go with our existing woodwork.  The only down side was having to replace the base, since the laminate flooring was not as high as our carpet, so we had to purchase a new base board to avoid having to repaint the walls. It's been almost a year, and we are very happy with the investment.  We had a contractor install it, and they were done in about two days - including tear out, the 'padding' and the floating floor.  After watching the workman, it would also be easy to install yourself, since it it a tongue and groove product that does not require adhesive or nailing.
