Moen Castleby Basthroom Faucet (4948)I replaced all my bathroom faucets with Moen Castlebys(4948).  The polished chrome finish is beautiful.  I love the quarter turn valves.  Thier action is comfortably tight and very smooth.  The long neck of the high arc spout is very convenient.  I don't have to put my hands right up against the lav bowl to rinse them.  The removable screens provide for easy cleaning and attachment of the usual home care appliances.They were easy to install, needing no special tools.  The only issue I have is with the base gasket.  It is a foam band that fits around the supply tubes and compresses as the base is seated.  I am not sure this is a problem because, after a year of use, I haven't seen ay leakage into the cabinet.  However it does seem that this approach will allow water to be trapped under the base which could lead to finish damaging corrosion.  On the upside, this gasket is invisible from the outside, adding to the elegance of the design.Overall, I am very happy with this product.  It is solid, but elegant.  It helped to create just the right look in my bathrooms.
