Amazingly comfortable baby carrier

5

I got this when my daughter was 4 months old so I could carry her to the beach in the summer....I wish I had gotten it sooner! It is so comfortable and easy to use. And my daughter is so happy when she's in it. I'll be using it from day one with my second child! Safety I always feel like my daughter is secure in it, no matter how much I move around or how much I need to carry Baby's Comfort She is always very happy snuggling in the wrap Parents' Comfort You really don't even feel the babies weight at all when you ave it wrapped properly Ease of Use Ignore any reviews that say this is hard to figure out how to wrap. It is so simple!! It really only takes one or two tries to figure out how tight or loose it needs to be. And it takes seconds to get it on or off Design I am pretty petite so their was a lot of extra fabric that I ended up cutting off. Durability It washes nicely

I have used it for several weeks know and still love it!! I wish i had gotten it sooner but had to wait tell i had the money to get it!! I would recommend to family and friends cause it is comfortable for me and my daughter!!! just remember if you wash it be very careful if you dry it as mine did shrink a little but i stil love it anyways!!! I can't wait to get the tye dye so i can make it my own creation and not like many other i have seen..I would definitely recommend to somone with a newborn!!!

It was ok

I liked it for a while. It was great to use for a newborn. I used it to go on long walks instead of having to push a stroller. But once she got bigger and moved around she seems to stretch it out and make it really lose. So i was always adjusting it.

a little overwhelming

I bought this because I was trying out a number of carriers when I had my 2nd baby, and a friend highly recommended this one. My little one was so fussy that I was carrying her in a front carrier constantly, and I thought this one would be comfortable. I tried it out a few times and it worked well, the baby seemed comfortable and my back was comfortable. But I had a few other carriers to choose from (clip and buckle type, mei tai type, pouch, ring sling) and I always found myself choosing one of those over this one, just because this wrap was much more cumbersome to put on. I'm sure with a little more practice, I would have gotten really fast, but those other fast and comfortable options (especially mei tai and ring sling types) just appealed to me so much more. I really liked how soft the fabric was, and how it is so easy to wash. Also, it is really a multifunctional piece of equipment. You can use it to shield your baby from the sun in a stroller, cover you while you are nursing, wipe up a spit up mess in a pinch, etc. In spite of this, I can't bring myself to pass this wrap along, because in theory, I really like the idea of it and want to try again with another child. It's just it didn't really fit the practical bill for me this time around.

I at first did not wrap my Moby wrap correctly so it was pretty uncomfortable for me. But then I had watched a youtube video on how to do it properly and my oh my it was awesome! I have no pain anywhere when I wore/wear my son. And he's a BIG boy! :D Just turned 9 mo. old and weighing in at 23lbs. So if I know I am going to be out and about for a while I definitely bring my Moby along with me b/c it's just the comfiest thing ever!

I bought this moby wrap and my son love when I would wrap him inthe Lotus tie and clean around the house or go on a walk.  It's a little complicated at first to tie but you end up getting the hang of it.

Moby wrap UV Protection in Sand color works for mom and dad both

I bought the moby wrap with uv protection and have enjoyed it.  I've previously used a baby bjorn and although that worked I usually have heavier babies so by month two or three my back was killing me.  The moby is different.  I was able to carry my child through airports, on the beach, around the house, and in a swimming pool and not worry about my back getting tired or sore.  I'm also happy to report that the UV protection worked both before and after washing the wrap.  My daughter was three weeks old and completely protected with the moby while I walked around in an outdoor pool with my three and half year old.  I like that it folds easily and the color also works for both myself and my husband.  I don't think my hubby ever pictured himself wearing a baby, but he's done great with it and worn her many times (especially on hikes, walks around the park, etc.)  I'd recommend this to new moms and friends.  It's helped me soothe a crying baby while trying to fix dinner and it's easy to get on with some practice.

Love it!

At first glance it looks very confusing!  I found demonstrations on youtube and figured it out.  My baby loves it and I do too.  I like being able to carry her close to me and try to avoid people getting close to her when I am shopping.  No germs on my baby!

The moby works, but there are better options!

I have a moby, baby bjorn and a ergo. I have found that I like the baby bjorn the best. The moby is fine but among all the baby carriers there are so many better options! First of all, the moby has a learning curve. I find that if I don't have the perfect tightness when wrapping then the baby feels like he is going to slip out. Even if I do have the the tightness perfect, I still have to hold onto the baby's head if I am bending down to load or unload the dishwasher. Second of all, the moby is time consuming to put on at first. Usually, when I am reaching for a baby carrier I am wanting to use it because my baby is crying, and it is stressful trying to put the moby on in a hurry! I love the baby bjorn so much better. It is easy to put on in a hurry and is completely hands free. I would then go with the ergo for when the baby gets a little older because then you put the baby on your back to reduce back strain. The things I did like about the moby is that is has UV protection, I love the color teal, and there was a traditional feel about using a moby.

Couldn't have made it without it

I bought the hot pink Moby Wrap with UV protection because I had my third son in April.  I didn't know how I was going to handle the two older boys (ages 7 and 4 at the time) at the pool while still taking care of the baby, especially since they don't recommend putting sun screen on babies before six months.  A friend of my had a Moby wrap for her twins and let me try her's out to see if I would like it.  I tried it a couple of times, and then decided to get one of my own so I wouldn't worry about ruining hers.  It took some getting used to.  The first time I used it at the pool, I went with my husband so he could watch the big boys, while I messed with the Moby.  I never got the baby in comfortably during that trip, but I didn't give up because I couldn't.  By the end of the summer I was an old pro and I used it everywhere.  My baby is a real snuggler, and he pretty much lived in the Moby.  For most of the summer I kept his legs tucked in and put a sun hat on him.  He didn't have any tan at the end of summer so it definitely kept him safe from the sun.  The Moby wrap did fade because of the chlorine and sun, but it's still a fun color and what else could be expected.
