I found that the instructions included with the Moby wrap were easy to follow.  The wrap itself is soft, lightweight, and comfortable.  There are so many different carrying positions with a wrap style carrier that it truly is the most versatile style.  The stretch of the fabric allows you to pre-wrap the Moby ahead of time so that you can quickly pop the child in the wrap within seconds.  I would wrap and tie my Moby Wrap before we left for an outing and when we got to our destination, all I had to do was pop my little guy in the wrap and go.

The only "con" that I can think of for this style carrier is the child does tend to "sag" a little bit when they get bigger/heavier if you use it for extended lengths of time.  It is perfect for newborns and young infants.

The Moby Wrap Baby Carrier is a lifesaver!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

During my second day in the hospital after having my daughter by c-section, the lactation consultant offered me the chance to purchase a Moby Wrap right there at the hospital. I was thrilled to try it, since I had seen it at many stores, and a few other moms I knew had one as well. I was also excited to try it because my daughter was fairly fussy in the days (and months!) after she was born. The consultant helped me put it on and put my daughter in it, and within a minute she stopped crying and was fast asleep! I felt really comfortable walking around, sitting, and moving around with her in it-I did not feel like she would fall out or was unsupported in any way. After practicing putting on t...

Couldn't have lived without it!

Overall

I had a twill fabric pouch sling when my first baby was born. I used it a bit, but not much. When I was pregnant with my second child I looked into babywearing more seriously and a friend recommended the Moby Wrap. I bought one andwas overwhelmed with the instruction booklet and just put it aside. Fast forward to my first day home with my son... I had an unplanned c-section and was in a lot of pain. My son was a snuggler and wanted to be held nonstop. I had a 2.5 year old and a house to take care of. I got out that Moby Wrap and it took me about 5 minutes to figure it out. Got baby in it and was surprised at how comfortable it was for me, how secure he was in it, and how painless (literally!...

Good even for low weight babies

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

When I had my daughter she was only 4lbs and most baby carriers support a 7lbs baby. She would get lost in the slings and the snuggies. The Moby wrap is great because you can use it in so many ways and even until the child weighs 30 to 40 lbs. The tricky part is wrapping it. I tried using it in two different ways liking the front pack idea the best. the wrap comforted my little one keeping her close to me and I could adjust it to fit her no matter how small she was.

I later got a sunggie front pack from a friend and would use both depending upon the situation. But Now that she weights just about 20lbs at 18 months I would most likely go back to using the Moby because of it's versitilty and ...

If you are going to wear your baby, this is a good choice

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I was given this baby wrap as a gift when our third baby made his appearance. I had looked into baby wraps but didn't know what to get. I saw my friend wearing her baby in this one at church and it looked so cozy for the baby. So when one came in the mail from her I was excited to try it out. It is one looong piece of fabric, no buckles. they sent a diagram showing the different ways to do it up and different ways the baby can sit in there. it took me a little bit to figure out how to do ti but once I got the hang of it, it was comfortable--no buckles, metal pieces, or awkward corners sticking into you or the baby. I loved how it held even his head securely to me. Other baby carriers yo...

I wanted to like this...

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I really wanted to like this baby carrier, I really did.  I chose this for my third baby after having used various other carriers with my first two.  I had read rave reviews about how comfortable it was for both mom and baby and even had a friend who used hers with her son all the time.

I only ended up using this a few times overall.  The Moby Wrap is just so. much. fabric.  I am fairly small framed and the Moby was just so long and so much to wrap around me.  It was comfortable to wear my baby, but if she fussed a all it was like unwrapping a mummy to get to her.  I suppose I could have kept trying and gotten used to it, but I didn't.  My kids all ...

Mom and baby love Moby Wrap

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Both my son and I love the Moby Wrap.  Everytime I put him in it he calms down and usually falls asleep.  It is very comfortable to wear and puts most of his weight around my hips instead of my shoulders so I can wear him for long periods of time.  It can be difficult to put on, especially when out in public, but I often will put it on before I leave the house so that I can just put him in it when we get somewhere.   I really like that there are so many different ways to wear my son.  It is not recommended for back carries though.  The different positions can be hard to do the first few times but once you get the hang of it, it doesn't take any longer to pu...

I registered for the Moby Wrap and received it for at one of my baby showers. I was so in love with the idea of using this product which is why I was quite disappointed with it after using it. I read through the instructions thoroughly before attempting to put it on. It is not hard to put on, but putting the baby in it is quite difficult. I felt like my baby was either not secure or that he was going to be smothered. I did have a big baby, he weighed almost ten pounds at birth, but I don't think that should be a factor while using the Moby Wrap. I know that I put it on correctly because I even watched videos on the internet about using them so my overall opinion is pretty low. Maybe if someone who was a little larger than me used the Wrap it would work better for them. I am still in love with the idea of the Moby Wrap, that is why I am still giving it three stars. I hope it works better for you than it did for me.

The best one for me

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got to try the Moby wrap during prenatal classes offered by the hospital so I knew what I was buying and knew how to tie it even before my daughter was born. I did some extensive research before buying the wrap, saw some other options and went with Moby. Once you get the hang of how to tie it, it's real easy. The fabric is soft and nice but at the same time it feels thick the way good quality sheets do (the ones with high thread count) so it is durable and does not have too much give to it, which is what you want - you don't want the fabric to be too stretchy because the baby will keep sagging lower and lower from the original position you tie them into and that is not comfortable!

Can you believe it is possible to hold your baby and still have to hands avalible to do the things you need to around the house?

When I first put on the moby wrap I was unsure as to how my baby would respond to it. Putting it on for the first time was not difficult although I was a little confused and had to refer to the manual that came with it quite often. Once I got the 'wrapping' down I was thoroughly impressed with it. The first two times I put my baby in the Moby Wrap he did not care for it. Then he fell asleep in it and ever since then it is one of his favorite places to be. When he is tired and I have things to do, I tuck him in and off we go. Whether I tuck his head in or leave it out he easily falls asleep and stays alseep for longer than he would if I were just holding him.

This wrap is perfect for an active mom who has lots of things to do but wants to be close to her child. All in all...a great product and well worth the money spent!!

In love with Moby!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I absolutely love the Moby wrap. I have used it since my son was newborn. He is now 11 months and I still use it when I need to carry him around a lot, because it is easier on my back than just using my arms! I would recommend this wrap to anyone interested in a baby carrying option that is convenient, and more like the womb. I love the different wrap styles, as they give you a chance to change baby's position if in the wrap for a long period of time. Baby is always safe and secure if you are wrapping correctly. And my back holds up so well!!

The main reason I originally went with Moby is that I am a plus sized Mom and other carriers/slings were so uncomfortable for me and baby! Not so with Moby! Always a great fit. It is a little warm, but I still love it. Learning the wraps took a little practice but it was well worth it!!

Overall

I was given a ring sling when I had my first child.  I tried as hard as I could to use it, but just could never get used to the feeling that my son was not securely snuggled up to me.  I contantly felt scared that he was going to fall out!Well, after trying the Moby Wrap with my 3rd child - I can't believe I went so long without knowing about this wrap! I have a 2 year old daughter, who is very active, so I knew I would need something to keep the baby next to me, while still having 2 hands to tend to my daughter's needs.  So I ordered a Moby Wrap in navy blue in my 8th month.  The day I received it, I had to try it - but with my big belly I wasn't sure if I could find a w...

I tried this out for the first time when my son was about 3 weeks old. It took a little practice learning how to tie the thing onto me, and how to make sure that the baby was really safe in there, but after a few tries it was great! Looking online for videos helped a lot since the instruction manual wasn't that great. I especilly liked the hug hold and used it from the begining. My son was somehwta high needs and needed to be held A LOT. This was perfect as I could actually get things done around the house, and around town, with him right on me! It was also great for him to take naps when he wouldn't fall asleep on his own. Another great thing about the Moby is how much head control the baby gets! Most babies dislike tummy time in the traditional way and this helps keep baby upright and lets them work out those neck muscles while looking around! I used my Moby until my son got too heavy and the fabric would stretch too much!

Moby Wrap is an essential that every parent should own!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

<p style="text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;">I am a mother of two, and recieved the Moby Wrap as a gift while pregnant with my second child. I wasn't very familiar with the product, other than knowing the name and basic use. I was a little intimidated at first, with two small children I need things to be not only practical but simple and quick. Lucky for me the Moby Wrap is all the above. The instructions are easy to follow and very imformative. I felt like a pro after the very first use. Moby Wrap has made my life so much easier, and gives me more bonding time with my baby boy. Not only is Moby Wrap great for busy moms like me, but for dad as well.

Moby splashes on the baby market

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Last week my daughter went shopping and bought the Moby Wrap in black. My grandson is 4 weeks old and my daughter was starting back to work. All I can say, is "thank goodness for the instruction booklet." After trying several different wrap techniques, the Moby was installed on my daughter. Now for fitting little Connor in the Moby. Hmm, one problem. She had put it on too tightly and he wouldn't fit in the pouch!! After starting over, a little looser, it was time to once again trying to put the baby in the Moby. This time Connor was snuggly fitted in the Moby.   He looked so cute all snuggled up next to mommy. The instructions said that it could be used for nursing, but that would be difficult while working in an insurance office. I'd say, so far the Moby has been a hit with my daughter and grandson!!! Go get your Moby today. It would be helpful for a new mom especially if she is going back to work.
