Mobi-Cam Mobicam Video Monitoring System — 

The MobiCam AV Baby Monitor is what we purchased to look after the little one when she needs to be down for a nap or off to bed early.  It comes with a camera that is easy to set up beside the bed, crib, or cradle, and a separate color monitor that you can take anywhere you want.  Both devices can be operated using electricity or battery power, but by using batteries, it allows you to walk around the house with the monitor in hand.  They are two different channels to operate the system on, so if you are getting static or interference on one of them, you can simply switch over to the second feed.  It is very easy to set up right out of the box, and new parents can be off and running with the MobiCam.

The first noticeable thing about the MobiCam is the high quality images that the camera provides.  If it is during the day, the image is presented in bright colors, and if it is in the dark, the night vision camera function turns on to allow you to see in the dark.  The camera can be adjusted side-to-side or up-and-down in order to get the best possible angle, and then you can watch your little one from the other room, downstairs, or even outside of the house if you have the batteries plugged in to it.  The device is very easy to use, and there is even a clip on the monitor so that you can wear it around and just take a look if you hear the baby stirring.

We have found the MobiCam to be a great device, and have only sporadically had to deal with static on the monitor.  As long as you don't have something sending out a strong signal next to it; like a microwave of iPhone, the signal is going to keep coming in loud and clear.  It works well at night as well as during the day, and has a pretty powerful wireless signal in our opinion.  The monitor as well as the camera have been dropped a couple of times (which I don't recommend) and they both still work great.  The system was just over $100.00 with just the camera and monitor, and we have found it to be an extremely worthwhile purchase.  The MobiCam AV Baby Monitor is a product that we highly recommend to all parents.
