I have wanted one for as long as I can remember. It is the very first thing I registered for when my husband I got engaged, but unfortunately I received nearly everything on my list except it (of course!) About a year ago, my husband finally got all my hints and was kind enough to buy it for me, and I have been a happy girl ever since. It truly is as useful as I always thought it would be. This mixer is great for being able to get things whipped up while you are preparing other ingredients or just taking a break from it all!
I have had a KitchenAid mixer for 12 years now and I LOVE it. It is very high quality. The mixer has several speeds and a locking mode so that the beater will stay down in the bowl while you are whipping up your culinary masterpiece.
Durable, easy to clean up, reliable and sure to go the extra mile in quality...these mixers shoudl be a staple...

I love my Kitchen Aid mixer. When baking from scratch I always pull it out, even though it is a bit heavy to do so. It is well worth the effort as it saves time while baking by leaving your hands free to do other tasks. You can whip egg whites while you measure out ingredients, grease the cake pan or even tidy up as you bake. The mixer is perfect for mixing light or heavy batters. The motor is heavy duty and the mixer has never failed me yet, even one Christmas when my friend and I decided to make a triple batch of biscotti. I bought this in black for my new house. I just bought my first house and have been collecting things to make a house a home and I have always wanted a kitchen aid stand mixer. My kitchen is stainless steel and black so this black unit fit perfectly in. It has 10 variable speed controls that are easily cycled through with the knob on the side of the unit. This blender does it ALL. Seriously. It can make soup, dips, smoothies, juices... you name it, and it can do it! Vitamix is even used by professional commercial suppliers as well (which just goes to show how good of quality it REALLY is!). Vitamix also comes with a free recipe book filled with color-blasted high-quality pictures to tantalize your taste buds! :) I've owned mine for about 3 years now and NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM has EVER occurred with it. Hamilton Beach 62695R 225 Watts Hand Mixer
I like the Hamilton Beach Mixer with the storage for the mixers.
I really like the storage for the mixers. It beats( no pun) having to find the mixers.
This mixer stood up to me making frosting which can get heavy. I also can beat very fast. It is pretty sturdy for the price I paid.

I love to bake, but probably wouldn't bake 1/2 as much without my kitchen aid mixer. I used my mom's while I was growing up and learning to cook. I received mine as a wedding gift 6 years ago and it still works as well as the day I received it! I use it on average 5 times/week. Works great for cakes, cookies, doughs, ANYTHING! I have used it hundreds of time to knead bread dough and it works much better than by hand! (and much easier!)
I am not one to spend more for the better quality item unless it is absolutely necessary... and for this... SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY, YOU'LL BE VERY VERY GLAD YOU DID!...

oh wow, my husband bought this for my several years ago and i really did not want it, could not think of a good reason to get it, besides it was very expensive!! i am so happy with the kitchen aid!! this has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances, i use it all the time, i do not even have a regular hand mixer in my house anymore. i have some of the attachments for the kitchen aid, i have the meat grinder which has come in handy when processing my husband venisonand when making home made egg rolls, i also have the pasta attachment,works well but i do not use often. it handles great on cookie...

This mixer is a real work horse as it quickly and efficiently mixes and blends all doughs and mixes. Okay. Here's the real story. Do I absolutely need the beautiful blue mixer that is currently taking up space on my kitchen countertop? Probably not. I love the kitchen aid brand of appliances and this stand up mixer is no different. I use this machine daily. I use it to make breads, grind grain for brewing beer, and even grinding up meat after a hunting trip. I have trouble blending ingredients (especially when butter is involved) so I just add the ingredients and continue what ever other cooking I'm doing.
