This television is awesome for viewing movies as a family or with friends and family. We have had many movie nights with this television and have absolutely loved it. Our entire family loves it. It makes for great family time together. We don't even have a problem getting our teenager to watch movies or television with us with this tv in our family room. Everyone loves it!!

We have had our mitsubishi 73 inch tv for about 2 months now, and we have no complaints. We purchased it because it is HD & 3D ready, and of course nice and big! I was worried at first that our tv room wasn't big enough to accomidate this beast but it works nicely. Our couch sits about 10.5ft away from the tv and it is just fine. It is great for video game play with multiple players, each player gets a nice size screen when it is split so they can see all the action. This tv was also reasonably priced when compared to other tvs of its size. With the features, size and quality it was an excellent value for the money. It is definately something I would recommend to other people looking for a very large tv for movies or gaming. Having a tv this large turns your living room into a movie theater, and is great. I hope that it will last, and that if any issues come up that the customer service will be as great as the tv.

We bought this 73" Mitsubishi big screen TV last year and it is great.  It wasn't one of the most expensive, but it has a very good picture, good color and we really like it.  It is HDTV and cable ready so we didn't have to buy any additional box to get the HD although you do have to pay for the service through cable or satellite.  It makes watching sports events or animated movies more pleasurable with the size and distinct picture.  Before buying it we read reviews and some people complained about the fan noise.  I don't know how they hear it with the tv on, even on low volume, and we've had no problem with it.  When you turn the tv off, if you get up close you can hear a small sound, but it really is so low you would have to be trying to listen to it.  But it was one of the negative things we found on reviews, so it's included here.  It is light weight, has good sound and works very well with our Bose surround sound.  We are very happy with it.

We have had the Mitsubishi tv. for a little over 2 years not to mention we bought it opened boxed at the store. It's so huge that people can walk by and you'll won't miss a thing on t.v. The sound is very crisp. There is no need for surround sound with the Mitsubishi tv. With it being 1080p the clarity is AMAZING! Your mind will be blown away when you play a blu-ray movie on the t.v. It looks so outstanding that you actually re-wind just to see it again. So say good bye to those annoying little blurry dots! Since it has so many connections on the back you are able to hook up a ton of stuff. We currently have our playstation 3 hooked up as well as our WII. And on top of that we also have hdmi cords connected so that we can hook the laptops up to it and watch everything on 73"! We are able to name each of the components hooked in so that we will never forget which input to go to! Don't forget that it also has a built in tv tuner that makes everything look twice as good!
