I purchased this car brand new from the dealer. It started off fine, but after a while I noticed the paint starting to have white spots on it (I drive a black car). We took the car back to the dealer, at which point they gave us a lecture on keeping it waxed. We told them we keep the car in the garage and it is kept clean and waxed (which is true). They painted the one panel that was affected, saying it was because of problems with the clearcoat. This happened on SIX separate panels-all with separate trips to the dealer. It's been a year since then and the paint is doing the same thing again-even the panels they repainted. The car has a rattle in the driver's side door, the glove box doesn't sit exactly right in it's place, the sunroof rattles if it's open all the way. I've had other Mitsubishi's and liked them, but would never again buy a Galant!
