I have a mitsubishi eclipse, although it is not a spider, and it is not a convertable, it has a sun roof and such. my eclipse is a 2003 GT stick shift with cold air intake, etc etc. I have no problem with the gas mileage, or anything like that, but i'll tell you what. when you do have problems with a forein car, good luck getting the parts, or even getting TO the parts. forein cars are made like CRAP and are so hard to work on. i reccomend a mustang to anyone and everyone. they last, they can take a beating, and even with 150,000 miles, you can put a SUPERCHARGER on it and it'll STILL last. mitsubishi and all other forein cars are not made to last. the parts have to be ordered, you can't go to your local advanced auto part place and get parts, and you will most likely have a horrible, very frustrating time getting to parts. you have to take the whole motor apart almost just to get to a simple part. MUSTANGS all the way. =)
btw, dodge motors ARE christler, and christler motors ARE mitsubishi, so all you out there thinking dodge's are AMERICAN CARS, nooooooope. ford+chevy. :) thanks.
