No one believes me when I tell them I used to have a terrible perspiration problem. It started a couple of years ago, when it seemed like my usual deodorant wasn't working. I guess it was hormonal, but suddenly, I was experiencing underarm wetness & odor (eewww!). It was upsetting because it was never an issue for me before, I'd use Secret after the shower and not give it a second thought. When this problem started, I bought Degree, thinking it was stronger and would work. It controlled wetness, but created a new "sour" smell that was no better than the sweaty stink. So then I tried all the other sports/active formulas but I kept experiencing that same sour smell. I did some research online and started thinking, maybe I should try something natural instead of chemical. So I tried Tom's of Maine, even a crystal you hold under your arm for a minute. No luck! Right about then was when Secret clinical debuted which I tried and it worked for me but it was $7 and you had to use it a night instead of after a shower which was weird. I was at Walmart to buy more when I noticed the Lady Mitchum had a sticker on it that said "best selling women's deodorant". I never noticed it before and the product junkie in me figured, why not, I haven't tried it yet and it's way cheaper than the clinical stuff. I'm so glad I did because it works! I like the scent, I like that it's a clear gel and it really is effective which is all I ever wanted. Plus, it's a great price! I can honestly say that in the category of deodorants/anti-perspirants, I will be faithful to Lady Mitchum and wander no more!
