I thoroughly enjoyed this film set in pre WWII London. Frances McDormand plays Miss Pettigrew, a down on her luck nanny who ends up spending a day as a social secretary to Delysia Defosse (Amy Adams). She is instantly drawn into the budding actress' world and the fun begins. into Independent Films, a movie buff, comedy fan
I enjoyed this movie and actually went to go see it twice. It is a fun light-hearted love story with witty dailogue, and comedic moments. — Personally, I enjoy period movies. Espescially 1920's and after. Seeing the clothing and style recreated from those days,for today, is so just impressive and makes me wish I could go back to witness that lifestyle in real life. — Excellent acting, directing, and casting.
