Zoloft Antidepressant

Zoloft Antidepressant
thankful to my doctors, Every day computer user, Willing to pay for quality, an alergy sufferer, anxiety sufferer, health conscious, depressed

DEC

2009

I have been on & off Zoloft for several years.  Until the last year, my dose never exceeded 50 mg per day.  I have come to find I needed 100 mg after a year on it and now, a few months later, am up to 125 mg/day.

Several months ago I tried to come off this medication.  I did so under the advice of my prescribing physician.  The plan was to titrate down from 100 mg to 50 mg for one week, then 25 for one week, then 12.5 for one week, then off.  It didn't work out that way.  After 5 days on my first down-dose, I was crying on & off all day, having panic attacks and was miserable.  My doctor...

Latisse Latisse - Eyelasse Growth

Latisse Latisse - Eyelasse Growth
Willing to pay for quality, a beauty diva

2009

The Latisse started working within a week, maybe week and a half. Now, a month later It's made my eye lashes much longer and thicker. I even look better without any makeup on, because they're so long and thick.

My only suggestion is to not apply it too heavily or near inner corners of eyes, because it can give you gooey eyes in the morning.

For years I used the generic depo shot for my birth control. I loved it so much more than taking the pills. I had a lot of trouble remembering to take the pill everyday so to only have to worry about getting a shot every three months was wonderful. The biggest disadvantage at first was that I constantly spotted for the first year I took the depo shot. Afterwards it was great though because I stopped having a period. That was the best part of taking the shot. I have found other problems with the shot since however. When we decided to try for a child I stopped taking the shot but my period... read full review »

LO-OVRAL Low-Ogestrel

LO-OVRAL Low-Ogestrel

DEC

2009
I was put on LOW-OGESTREL TABLETS (28) a little over two years ago. I had terrible cramps and my doctor decided to prescribe this birth control oral contraceptive to me. Like I said, I have been on it for a little over two years. The cramps went away until a couple months ago, but they were not nearly as bad as before. LOW-OGESTREL pills did make me break out a week before that time of the month however. Also, I was told to take it right before bed because I needed to take it at a consitent time but also because it may make me nausous, and it did. After a couple of months, my doctor told me to... read full review »

As the parent of a chronically ill child his asthma was the one condition that limited his quality of life.  Whether it was seasonal or exercise induced asthma had a significant impact on my son's ability to live an active life.  I will stop short of calling Singulair a miracle drug, but one tiny pill has all but all but ended my son's asthma related symptoms.  After only 30 days of taking the medication my son had all but stopped having to use his rescue inhalers.  It has been almost 6 years of using Singulair and my son only has to only had to use an inhaler two or three times a year and...

I am a person who is dommed to wear glasses and after a while when you wear them always it seems like no one wants to see you without them. This happened to me and i decided to go back to wearing lenses. Now I had two issues one I have extremely dry eyes and second I am not a regular contact lense wearer. I wear them like 8 to 9 times a month or so.

The first pair I got were like Acuve Oyasys and these one lasted 15 days after being opened. They worked well but I did not wear them often so they would go waste. Only 6 lenses come in a box and I used to wear them like 3-4 times and then I had to...

Armour Thyroid Armour Thyroid
Willing to pay for quality, fun loving, hypothyroidism, never sick, slow thyroid

DEC

2009

Before taking this medication, I was always cold, everything hurt, run down and just feeling sick. I went to the doctor with all my symptoms. I was missing menstrual cycles and it was hard for me to urinate. The doctor took blood, my results were slow thyroid. He prescribed Armour thyroid 1 grain (60mg). after about 3 weeks i felt great. I no longer had any of these symptoms.

Now 3 years later i'm only on half a grain (30mg). I went to get a refill one day and to my surprise it was  discontinued. This was summer 2009. Now it's almost winter 2009 and I still can't get this medication. Everyone...

Lexapro Lexapro

Lexapro Lexapro
Tried this medication

DEC

2009

After being diagnosed with clinical depression about three and a half years ago, I was put on an anti-depression medicine called Lexapro. My doctor told me that the way it typically worked is that users seemed to be in a sort of "funk" for about the first two weeks, but then it would start to kick in.

That is exactly what happened to me. Finally, every day wasn't a "bad" day, and I was able to function more in society than I was before. When I realized that the frequency of my bad days was not down to my satisfaction, I asked my doctor about maybe upping the dose a bit, which she did. That was...

Zegerid omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate

Zegerid omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate
never sick

DEC

2009

For over a year I suffered from a persistent cough and sore throat.  I was misdiagnosed several times (including lymphoma, infection, and tonsillitis), and was finally placed on PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) to see if they would help.  I tried Aciphex, Prilosec, and others, with very little success.  Finally I was placed on Zegerid, which has 40mg of omeprazole (the same active ingredient as Prilosec, but twice as much) and 1100mg of sodium bicarbonate.  It worked wonders!  I've been cough free for almost a year now.  I take the pills twice a day (even though it's not recommended, my doctor...

astra zeneca Pulmicort Flexhaler

astra zeneca Pulmicort Flexhaler
getting a flu shot, diabetic, Willing to pay for quality, an alergy sufferer

DEC

2009

Pulmicort Flexhaler is a very good medicine to use to keep from having an asthma attack.  I was using Advair disk,  which is at least three times as expensive as the Pulmicort Flexhaler is, and then the doctor said to try a Pulmicort sample.  After using the Pulmicort inhaler for a while, I think I actually like that better.  The problem is that there is not a definite way to keep track of how many puffs you have used.  It only goes in 20 incriments and that is hard to keep track of.  I usually use th date I got the prescription and then go two months from that date.  Why are all the new...

Vicodin Pain Reliever

Vicodin Pain Reliever

DEC

2009

I have had back pain for over a year now and have tried everything that my doctor would prescribe for me since they don't know what is causing my pain. Well, I think it's because I have a bigger bust area than most but he thinks otherwise. Anyways, I have tried everything from hyrdocodone and regular tylenol and so on and so forth. Nothing has really worked. The oxycotin's that I had received I used them for 3 months and my body got used to them so they quit working. Well, my back was hurting the other day so bad that my mother-in-law gave me a Vicodin and to my surprise it took my pain right away!...

This is a great birth control product. Where most birth control products can cause acne or cramps, I had no problems with this one. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to find a birth control that is easy to switch to. I have had no problems with cramps while on this birth control either. Some birth control products would give me awful cramps during the 4th week, however this one does not. I have not had any bad experiences taking this birth control. I have had no problems with PMS or any mood effects that come with some other birth control products. I have several friends that also...
