My department at work recently moved to a new location in our building. I was in an open cubicle, and now have a 2-person office with no 2nd person. This means I can ditch my earbuds and actually have my music playing aloud. I have a CD player with speakers but can't play my mp3 tunes through it.
A co-worker suggested I get a cassette adapter to attach the mp3 player to. I tried that, for about $10, but the cassette itself was squeaky and and it gave a horrible hiss through the speakers (remember that annoying white noise that accompanied cassettes?).
