Minute Maid Pineapple Orange Juice —

Last night I had a craving for a Tequila Sunrise with pineapple juice in addition to the traditional orange juice. I sent my husband to the store and he came back with Minute Maid Pineapple Orange Juice.

I wanted regular pineapple juice, but what's the saying..."If you want it done right, do it yourself". So here I am with Minute Maid Pineapple Orange Juice. I took a sip and winced at how sweet it was. It actually tasted more like pineapple juice than orange juice, so I have to give my husband some credit now. [Insert credit for husband here].

I preceded to make my cocktail: a little tequila, a little orange juice and a little Minute Maid Pineapple Orange Juice with a splash of cranberry juice. The end result - delicious! I was surprised how good it was, but I could only have one drink because it was so sweet.

At the 7-Eleven a 15.2 fluid ounce bottle costs $1.99. I'm sure you could get it cheaper somewhere else. The label says 100% Juice.

Ingredients: pineapple, orange and apple juices from concentrate, less than 0.5% of vitamin C, vitamin E, natural flavors.

I gave this product 3 starts because although it was a great drink mixer, there is no way I could drink it by itself. It is just way too sweet!

It was, but only one! Had I drank another, I would have gotten a "sweet headache" :)

No, it was kind of watery actually. Not nearly as thick as OJ. There must not be very much pulp in there :)

Does that cocktail sound good orwhat!

Is it too thick as well? I find pineapple juice to be thick as well as too sweet.

Even at half it's original strength, do you drink it by itself? I couldn't imagine :)

I need to water-down Pineapple juice to about 1/2 it's usual strength. Yep, it's tooooo sweet.

Orange juice used to be my favorite juice. It was so weird, one day I drink a glass of OJ and I got really sick to my stomach. Oh yeah, I have a little scar on my chin from when I fell. My dad brings it up every birthday, and I LOL! ;-)

I will only drink it if I mix it in a drink. It tasted like pure pineapple juice :)

I bought some of this and no one in the house would drink it. Too bad too because it sounded great!

Oh my, that is horrible that you are allergic to OJ. Plain orange juice is my favorite juice. Hopefully you can laugh about your 21st birthday by now :)

I love Dole's Pineapple juice. I'm actually allergic to orange juice. I've tried Minute Maid juices between it is just too sweet for me. BTW, no alcohol for me. I've only had one drink in my whole life. I had a bad experience. I fainted and fell on the floor and busted my chin open. This was on my 21st birthday, which was 16 years ago. I love Dole's Pineapple Orange Banana juice so I would probably like this stuff too! Uh, hold the alcohol but send me some the sweet stuff ;+) I have never paid attention so I don't think I ever noticed that Minute Maid made the mixed flavors. I'll definitely be looking for this. And she introduces me to another great product.
