It works on all wood types and looks like nothing.

I have used Minwax wood putty for quite a few years and have always had excellent results with it. It blends easily with most woods, is durable and easy to use. The price is a good buy as a little goes a long way. Recently I made a bookcase headboard with a dark walnut stain, the wood, being old barn wood, needed filling in many places because of insects and nail holes. The Minwax wood putty made the job easy and the colors match wonderfully.
