Miller Lite Review Summary

One of the most popular beers is Miller Lite and reviewers agree that the widespread availability of Miller Lite is one of its advantages. They also point out that the neutral flavor of Miller Lite makes it compatible with many foods, the low calories, and the fewer grams of carbs as reasons to like Miller Lite. But feelings are very mixed with Miller Lite, as illustrated by comments that range from “My Favorite Beer”, to “Millions of People Can be Wrong”. The problems with Miller Lite include its lack of flavor and lack of body, along with its excessive carbonation. These differences of opinion make Miller Lite a toss- up among Beer Products; a classic love it or hate it product.

I started out drinking Bud Light which is a beer I stuck with for a long time. Someone said they switched to Miller Lite because it had fewer calories. I tried it and actually liked it better than Bud so I switched. It's been my beer of choice for a few years now. I've tried other light beers but this... review »

It wasn't the first "light" beer, but it was certainly the first low-cal beer to actually be commercially successful, and it's based directly on the original low-cal brewing process originally concocted by the evil mad brewing scientist, Dr. Joseph Owades, while he was working at Rheingold.

Owades' process...

I won't indicate how many years ago, but when I was in college, the light beer thing was really hip and cool, because you could drink more of it with less impact on the waistline (or so the theory went), and I remember Miller Lite being one of the early and very popular brands ( perhaps more for the fact that they had such an aggressive marketing campaign than the others).  I also remember that I didn't really like it very much at the time.  I believe that I ranked it somewhere in the same genre as dishwater with generic label suds-seriously lacking in any sort of punch, and certainly no foamy... review »

Very little real beer taste.  Depending on the day, you can taste the chlorine from the city water.  I guess it is good if you want to get drunk.  It is a does have some fizz to it.  The pale color makes you think it is good for you.  I guess if will get your mouth wet on a hot day.

Miller Lite is one of the most consumed beers in America. Miller's advertisement is only second to Bud's, but slick commercials and the frat boy images can not cover up just how bad this water is. Over carbonated and saver lack of taste make Miller Lite just not enjoyable.

Consumer Note:  this beer is "triple hops brewed"

* Brilliant pale yellow with fast-fading bleached head.

* Clean bready nose with sweet corn backdrop (no hops).

* Unrestrained sweetness through midtaste tastes more like corn than malt (no hops).

* Finish transforms rather quickly from sweet to dry.  Aftertaste is a bit minerally (no hops).

* Body is thin and lifeless; carbonation is crisp and prickly.

Synhopsis:

Like I wrote in the sound bite, this beer (and I use the term lightly) is good for what it is meant to be: flavored, carbonated water.  As such, it serves its purpose.  If all you...

I don't love beer. When I do go out to have a beer, I choose Miller Light. It has better flavor than Bud Light, or Coors Light.

Beer Best of the light brews
TASTE TEST Light beers from Michelob, Sam Adams, and Coors edged out the competition from Budweiser and Miller. If you have been drinking Bud Light or Miller Lite, the best-selling light beers in the country, it might be time to consider a new brew, our taste tests show. Although those two beers were judged very good, several others scored higher. The top light beer: Michelob Ultra Amber, which hit the market just last year.

Americans now drink...

I have been a Miller lite beer drinker for 20 years! I love this beer ice cold. I have tried many other beers domestic as well as international. There were several that I enjoyed their flavor and taste but, I always come back to Miller lite.

I agree that the calorie count was one of the reasons i first tried miller Lite but, at this time in my life the calories are not as important as the taste and this lite beer is full of body and taste. I have drank regular Miller  Genuine Draft as well. I personally find it a little heavy so back to Lite. I have friends that were skeptical that a lite beer...

miller lite beer is one of the greatest tasting beers. It really stands up to it's ad. I enjoy drinking this beer.  It's has good flavor, smooth taste and goes down easy. I switched from bud lite to miller lite. The only other beer that I'll drink other than miller lite is coors lite when I can't find miller lite. I always have miller lite when I have a cookout. It's by far one of the best beers on the market today. There's nothing better than a cold miller lite truly refreshing on a hot summer day.  This is my favorite beer on Sunday and Monday nite during football season. I do recommend this...

Miller lite is an ok tasting beer that you can usally find as a cheap draft special at a lot of bars but it is over carbonated and doesnt have the greatest flavor in the world but all in all is not a bad tasting beer for the price that you can usally find it at.The bottle has a nice design and is easy to hold and is not heavy. The beer itself go's down fairly easy and doesnt have a huge after taste.I have tried it at many different bars and i actually like it better as a draft then in the bottle as the taste isnt that strong as a draft beer that it is in bottle form and i am not a big fan of a...

I used to always drink Bud lite. I always thought that it was the best lite beer. Then I tried a Miller lite on a camping trip one time and I have been stuck on it ever since. I do not drink that much but when I drink I like to drink something that tastes good. Miller lite does not have the nasty aftertaste that Bud lite. Also as you get further down on the bottle or can the miller lite still tastes good, where as, with bud lite it doesnt taste as good. Go Miller Lite!!!

I like a lot of beers, but I'd have to say that this is my favorite. I never have a bar-b-que or watch a game without my trustee Miller Light! I do believe that the taste is more fullfilling than other beers. I would take the taste test any day and I know that I will still choose my fave. I'd like to see more beer commercials with girls in them. Girls are beer drinkers, too, you know.

I think miller lite is great.  The bottle says all, it is less filling, tastes great and not being an imported beer helps our econamy. this beer has reasonable price to it.  It has a name you can trust and a reputation you can't beat.  guarrenteed to be fresh and never skunked.  this is one of the verry few beers that you can drink without beeing it beeing ice cold.

We switched to this beer several years ago when my husband did the atkins diet.  It at that time and still maybe was the lowest carb beer around with any flavor.  We both love it and enjoy the fewer calories that it offers.

Our house wouldn't be complete without this in our refrigrator.

I guess I'm alittle spoiled to Miller Light. I have a hard time drinking anything else. I mean I will but I don't really like it! I can drink Miller and never feel like I can't take another drink. It's lite and less filling! hahahahaa!
