I went to the Millennium Hotel St. Louis for a quick 1 day get away. My room was in the south tower (not the tall one but the shorter one). The hotel is old and needs renovations, plus you can't beat the location! I went to St Louis for a baseball game, to check out the arch, to visit Lacledes Landing,... read full review »

When we arrived at our room, there was a wet towel hung in the bathroom. The ice machine on our floor was broken and we had to go down to the third floor to get ice and we had to use the stairs the whole time because the elevators were running EXTEMELY slow. The sheets on one of the beds in our... read full review »

We enjoyed St. Louis but will choose a different  hotel the next trip to the area. The staff at this hotel was horibble at check in. The night clerk was more interested in her smoke break than adequately checking us into the room. The clerk at check out was not much better but the shift manager was polite but did not offer any thing to correct the poor service. I would not recommend a stay here if you are expecting great service. The accomadations aren't half bad.

I have stayed at the Millenium once before in the North tower. This stay was in the South tower and as far as I can tell every room has a spectacular view. I liked the North tower a little more for the fact that the rooms were more modern. I am refering to decor only as the South tower had every amenity you would really want. Internet T.V., vending very close to our room, game room, atrium ect. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting the St Louis experience. Walking distance to just about everywere or a short cab ride to everywere else. Across the street from the Arch with half or... read full review »

The Millennium Hotel was great. You are across from the Arch, with a wonderful park to walk through. There are weekend concerts in the park, which are all free. The Cardinal's stadium is a block from the hotel. The rooms have been remodeled and renovated. They are very clean and comfortable. The hotel has two restuarants. One is a 360 degree revolving restaurant with an amazing view of the city. The other is a cafe/grill that has a great breakfast buffet and casual dining as well. There is a Martini Bar in the lobby. The hotel is quite spacious. The only problem the entire weekend was... read full review »

The hotel could not have better location if the focus of your trip is the Arch and Laclede's Landing. It's landmark tower is easy to spot. And just a short walk from the Stadium Metro-Link. But the hotel's appears to cater more to conventions/meetings/business travelers. It has limited courtesy van service. The outdoor pool is almost impossible to get to. If you don't stay in the cabana suites, you have to trapse through the lobby, down escalators and through a dining area to get to it. The indoor pool in the atrium area is incredibly small. Staying in an economy room off the... read full review »

Me and my girlfriend wanted to just go somewhere new for a night and being from Chicago we thought St. Louis was a great place. The city was very quiet the weekend we went and we couldnt find a reasonable restaurant near the hotel. We ended up going to the hotel restaurant and couldnt believe we didnt just start there. The food was amazing and for 40 dollars for the two of us with drinks was well worth the money. The room was perfect and overlooked the arch. It was perfect to just go and relax and be so near the arch and if it were baseball season, being able to walk to a cards game. Overall... read full review »

The bad: This hotel has some renovated rooms and some that are completely terrible. We had to change rooms three times. The first room was old and dirty. The second room was renovated but had sewer gas coming out of the bathtub. The third room was renovated but somehow the whole place just felt dirty. It's like they tried to renovate but didn't go all the way. The hallways and carpets are dirty. They did charge us $20.00 more a night for a "new room", which after our troubles seemed bold. The good: Great food, great location and great views of either Busch stadium or the... read full review »

The Millenium St Louis has a helpful, friendly staff. Each time I was at the front desk, I was greeted within a couple minutes even when there was someone in front of me in line. The front desk clerks gave accurate directions when I was looking for a particular rental property as well as giving me a complimentary newspaper to look at the current rental advertisements and verbal suggestions on where to look. The room was quiet even though the lobby was loud with prom-goers and children basketball teams on both Saturday night and Sunday morning. There was plenty of space and light in the room and... read full review »

The Millenium, St. Louis staff was very pleasant and helpful. Check-in/out was fluent and courteous with no time wasted. However, the rooms were not as clean as inprior visits. There were stains on the carpet that could have been removed easily.A bath towel that was obviously bleached yet still stained. It should have been thrown away and replaced. These were a couple of things that tarnished my view of this property. I did stay in the less expensive of the two towers which, based on previous visits, gets less attention. I will consider another hotel next time. I would not have done that prior... read full review »

This was our second trip to the Millennium and to St. Louis. Both times we've had a great experience being able to take in sites & culture of the area, including a super Jazz benefit at the Sheldon Concert Hall. The Millennium is a wonderful place to stay allowing for many things to do and see very close or with in a nice walk of the hotel. If there was one thing which was of concern this stay was the musty smell in our room of which could have been due to A/C performance. However, the hotel staff was very helpful and extermly pleasent to help with our personal items and to offer directions... read full review »

The Millennium Hotel, St. Louis was very comfortable. It was obvious that the hotel has been upgraded recently. My room had two double beds, so the desk area was pretty limited. It would have been nice to have had more room in the bathroom to put all the stuff that women travel with. Staff was very accomodating during check out. I ate at the restaurant for breakfast, food was good and service was excellent. Hotel is right downtown next to the Arch and the Cardinal ball park.

Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, You can see the Arch and the ball park from the property. Downtown St. Louis has...

We found the hotel without any difficulty. You park across the street and take underground tunnel to hotel. Check in was fine but getting a elevator in the late afternoon is long especially if there is a conference at the hotel. Great location if going to the ballgame or arch. Easy to get on to I55 south. The rooms were clean but you can tell they updated on a budget because the furniture was plain and some of the electrical outlets were not in the wall appropriatly. The bar was crowded after the game but service was fine. They could label things better like where the dining room is and how to... read full review »

The Millennium Hotel was very enjoyable vacation stop-over. It was centrally located to local attractions, restaurants, sporting events shopping and great friendly local 'hangouts'. The local Jazz/Blues club BB's was a hoot. Musical entertainment excellent... Enjoyed the restaurants on the riverfront and the excitement of the casino. I Won..... The city tour was entertaining and informative. The hotel room at the end of the day was warm and inviting. A comfortable bed, crisp clean sheets and a view of the Arch at night that was incredible.....The room service was excellent, hardly... read full review »

The Millenium was in a perfect location to access some of the great attractions of Downtown St. Louis. The Gateway Arch and both baseball and football stadiums are within walking distance. Parking was also convenient, with a walkway from parking to the hotel that didn't require going out into the weather or crossing the street. While the bathroom was fairly small, it was appointed with luxurious towels, shampoos and luxury soaps, and a hair dryer--a real plus for traveling light. We did not use it, but high speed internet was provided in room, with a convenient desk area for a laptop... read full review »
