Milk Bone Original Dog Treats —

I truly was shocked that my pom's dog chews are made in China; who knows if there is plastic in there; she is so tiny with such high metabolism she would be done for. Surely it can't be that much more expensive to make them here, considering the shipping involved. I really would be willing to pay for made in USA. Maybe if Americans were offered the choice of foreign or USA we would actually choose USA. Also if your bottom line didn't have to be huge that might make it more possible. The China label scares me to death. Thanks for listening- now about those gas prices....

I am so glad to have found your comment. We adopted a greyhound four months ago and have only bought treats (and food) that say "Made in America". I have been wanting to buy her Milkbones but haven't because it doesn't say where they are made. How did you find out that they are made in China?

Can't say I can blame the companies as much as our own government for taxing them so much. Then because of all the crazy lawsuits from those trying to make a quick buck raising insurance premiums so high. We drove our own companies out of the country for people being so stupid and filing false claims. I agree the products should be made here but they have to be able to stay in business without false lawsuits at every turn!
