I hate beer. That's right. I HATE it. The taste of beer makes me sick. It may be an acquired taste for some, but I never acquired it. Not even in college- if that's possible.

I have a few beverages of choice- with champagne at the top of my list. I can always make room for sparkling wine. Second in line...

My husband and I tried this because we were interested in cutting calories.  It's definaltely got a saccharine taste, and is generally not good.  My husband would not drink any more of it even though he likes Mike's hard cranberry lemonade.  I finished off the rest, but only becuase I'm on a diet. ... review »

I've never been a fan of beer. I would have to have been working all day in the blaring sun and totally parched before a beer would taste good to me - probably only half a bottle at that. I do like some wine coolers so when Mike's came out I gave it a try and found that it has a great taste with absolutely no beer taste that I could detect. Then they came out with a couple other flavors of which cranberry is now my most favorite. I rarely bring alcohol to a gathering of friends, but lately I found myself bringing Mike's whenever I get the chance. My only criticism is that it is priced a little... review »

A very affordable, tasty beverage.  Mike's Hard Lemonade is best served icy cold on a warm day.  It's flavorful and refreshing.  Also, a major highlight is the affordability - really nice when having a barbeque or party at home.  I love that there's a variety of flavors as well.  My personal favorite is the Mikes Hard Berry but there's also lime, cranberry, apple and probably a couple more I can't think of.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for affordable, refreshing, crowd-pleasing beverages.  They're fun, easy to keep cold and you don't have the hassle of mixing drinks for guests. ...

This drink is so good. It tates so much like lemonade with just a little kick and doesn't give you a hangover. you'd have to drink too many of these to get a buzz, and that's a buzz kill.  i'm not sure what the alcohol content is, but every time i decide to drink this, i'm a little sorry as it really does nothing for me - doesn't refresh me, doesn't give me a feeling like i've had any alcohol whatsoever to drink. 

 

 

the strong artificial sweetener taste takes away from the refreshing aspect.  i find the regular mike's to be also very sweet, but at least it's genuine sugar. you might like this if you truly don't mind artificial sweeteners.  i've gotten away from them over the past few years.

Mike's Hard Lemondae Light is similar to a wine cooler, so if you like those, I say give this drink a try. This beverage is so great. It is light and refreshing and perfect on a hot summer day. It tastes just like real lemonade only with a bit of a kick. I really love all of the Mike's Hard Lemonde products, but this is probably my favorite. It can be a little pricey because of the small single serving glass bottles, but its totally worth it for that 4th of July backyard bash! I also like this product because even when the drink itself gets a little warm it doesn't taste nasty like beer does!

I have always enjoyed a good girlie, wine cooler, but I always feel a little guilty if I drink more than one or two because I know that they're loaded with calories. I enjoy diet softdrinks, and always thought it would be great to have a wine cooler with less calories. When I saw that Mikes Hard Lemonade came out with this lighter version, I knew that I had to try it. To my delight, this version of the wine cooler has all of the taste and refreshment without all of the calories. It's a great summer drink!

Great drink that is refreshing, a litte on the more expensive side, but for those who don't like beer a great alternative even for those who like beer a great alternative.  Crisp, refreshing, somewhat sweet taste.  You can find this in just about every store that stocks liquor so you dont have to look around for it or try something else.  Best when cold.  Tastes almost like lemonaide so if you like lemonaide this is a great drink for you!!

   I'm a really big fan of this stuff. It's tart and smooth tasting at the same time, and you forget there's alcohol in it. The fact that it's "light" is also a bonus for me. You really can't go wrong with any of the Mikes flavors. The cost is a bit pricey so I only buy it as a special treat. I've been told that you can it get for a great price if you belong to stores such as Sam's Club.

i enjoy this drink when im thristy and need something cold to drink, and it does not make me feel drunk. it goes down nice and easy and refreshes me. the taste is good and not too strong, you dont need to drink something with it to make the taste on your tongue go away. i enjoy taking this drink to my friends house, its not too expensive, and we all sit around and drink it.

Mikes Hard light is an average drink. It has the fruty cocktail taste for those that seek to have a drink that is loaded but not the boozy taste. It is very tart like the original. However, whenever you see the word "Light" you should be expecting the new light taste...chemicals...non-sugar sugars and that is what you get with this product.

Very good. Not too overwhelming in the sweet side or sour side. I enjoy this after doing something on a hot summer day such as being on the boat or after a long swing. Not something to enjoy on a long winter day. The price is about average to typical wine cooler products but I could make this cheaper by buying all the products my self. All in all I rate this very good.

Mike's Hard Light Lemondate and Light Cranberry Lemonade are super yummy! I have tried them both on a number of occassions and they were excellent each time.  They go really well with salty snacks like chips and salsa. I would recommend drinking it cold right out of the bottle because why dirty a glass or water down this perfect beverage.

Mike's light does not fill you up as much and tastes just as good if not better than the original.  I always used to get full after one of the originals, but I can drink a few of these because they are "lighter."  Plus it has fewer calories!  I would say that it is not as sweet as the original but it still tastes great!
