The CD starts out with Mike's recounting of his worst appearance ever at a celebrity golf tournament. His warm and folksy style easily allows the listener to picture the events and readily find the humor in them. Mike's stories move through many subjects: his brother, bad pretzels at the US Open (tennis), a defective large-screen TV, his parents, diving into a pond, and doing jokes at a baseball awards banquet, among others.
I thoroughly enjoyed the CD and readily recommend it to anyone looking for a new comedian. Mike does not use swear words, although on occasion, he takes up topics that are edgier. I plan on purchasing Mike's other CDs and seeing his new special on Comedy Central in February.
