Miele G2630SCi Review

My husband and I remodeled our kitchen a few years back and purchased new appliances throughout. I went to the dealer to discuss dishwashers because our kitchen plan was an open one. We have an area for relaxing and an area for family meals in a large space. The kitchen needed appliances to suit this arrangement and our lifestyle.

I looked at a lot of dishwashers and got a ton of recommendations from friends and even strangers in the display areas of the appliance centers. I found opinions split between the Miele and Bosch. Let me tell you, the Miele in my opinion wins on every comparison level.

The machine is QUIET. When we first turned it on, both my husband and son stood next to it to make sure it was running. It did an outstanding job on our dishes. I like the cutlery tray at the top of the machine. My silverware does not bang against over pieces because there are slots for a full table setting of eight. Emptying the dishwasher is a breeze since everything is right at your fingertips sorted the way you put it in.

The Miele has three levels of trays. The bottom is for dishes, large platters, pasta bowls, sandwich dishes, etc. The second tray is great for glasses of all sizes and coffee cups, mugs, cereal bowls, storage containers, etc. The top tray is the silverware tray.
There are numerous settings to use for any situation. We have a septic system, so we use shorter cycles to conserve water. There are also settings for pots and pans, crystal/china, economy, normal, intensive and rinse only among others too numerous to mention. Anyone can successfully set the machine to run without using a manual each time to look up the setting.

I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking to purchase a quality dishwasher that is quiet, dependable and long lasting.
