Have gone through Maytag dishwashers in the past but when I bought my Miele, it is in a class by itself. Cleans dishes spotless and is so quiet. You can run it when you have company and it will not disturb your guests in anyway. Not a problem if you leave any large food particles by mistake. It has a large catch basket that you can empty out after cleaning cycle as the dishwasher will alert you before your next wash. Noise Level As quiet as a mouse... Cleaning Time Depending on the cycle you choose - appropriate to get the job done... Loading Flexibility Can easily accommodate dishes up to a 12 person place setting and a bit more miscellaneous items... Performance Always clean, never have to rewash anything. Design No complaints. Durability Have had my dishwasher for over 10 years...

I had a Miele dishwasher that was over 20 years old prior to this one. That one eventually broke down and I decided to buy another Miele because I was happy with the old one. I have tried various dishwashers in extended stay hotels and those cheap models really couldn't clean dishes properly, even with very few things in and they weren't that dirty. The machine works well, it does it job well. There aren't that many 'functions' and 'settings' compared to the higher end models but it's not necessary for me to have so many functions since all I want is my dishes to be cleaned. I never rinse my dishes before putting dishes into the dishwasher and it can handle most of the stains well - except baking trays. So far I'm happy with my dishwasher.
