As many people know, airlines have been struggling for quite some time now to remain afloat. Many airlines have had to cut back on their budget and this includes those once coveted snacks/meals we all once received several years ago. I frequently travel, at least 2-3 times a year and the cost of flying... read full review »

Everything I read about Midwest on their website was all about their customer service and how great they are.

Lies.

I flew to Michigan for my wedding after getting laid off and decided that I would spend more time in Michigan rather than flying back to Boston for a job that didnt exist. As a result my...

Have had only great experiences with Midwest.  They have a deep commitment to service and seem to genuinely care about customers - a rarity these days.  The seats are all business class and they still bake chocolate chip cookies onboard.  I was worried about AirTran's attempted purchase, and was relieved that they will remain independent.  Hopefully the new ownership firm will not change this gem.  My only wish for Midwest Air is that they would fly to Eau Claire, WI!

I had to make an unplanned trip at Thanksgiving because of a death in my family. I was told to try Midwest. This was on Sunday morning and I had a flight out the next morning with a return flight scheduled for the following Monday. I thought one week would be long enough. The service wasn't planned until after I arrived and was for the following Tuesday. Midwest 's Customer Service bent over backwards to change my flight information at no cost. The $100  fees were waived.  You can not beat that for service.  From now on I will go through them first.

Just an excellent carrier. I have flown many times and they are almost always on time and have fantastic service. And who can resist cookies?  I am moving to Austin, Texas from the Kansas City area and am thrilled that they have a direct route from those two cities, at a price usually less that Southwest.  I think Southwest is also an good carrier, but I do enjoy the larger seat and more legroom that I get with Midwet.

WORST customer service EVER.  I've been on hold for the last TWENTY  MINUTES!!!!  I've never been on hold this long in a VERY long time.

I'm writing this review without even talking to anyone, because I can't SEEM TO GET THROUGH TO ANYONE.

I've been on the phone with Frontier and Delta TONIGHT who had my phonecall answered within 5 minutes.... this is UNACCEPTABLE to have to wait 25 MINUTES!!!!!!

Rest assured, I will NEVER use this airline again.

The Airline was dirty, the entertainment didn't work and some of the seats didn't recline... and that was just the start.

The airline was late leaving and late getting in for the transfer casuing more than half the flight missed their next flights. The airline crew (one of them at least) was very rude when passengers asked questions about what time we would get in or if they would be set up on new flights. I heard one stewartess respond to a customer by saying, "that isnt my problem". The delay was caused by CATERING, and this was an uncatered flight!

Once we got in they weren't even giving passengers...

I fly a lot for business, and usually have to fly the big carriers.  However, when my budget (or a sale) permits me to fly Midwest, I do.  The customer service is incredible; they actually will do their best to get you when you need to go.  Two stories stand out:

1.  I was late to the terminal for a flight, and I was told matter of factly that I should have been earlier.  No rudeness, no Al Gore-sighing, no forcing me off the flight.  That's my rudest experience--which compares to my nicest experience on other carriers.

2.  I was delayed out of Milwaukee once because our flight had a couple...

Midwest Airlines -pI have been a frequent flier for 2 years, have thier credit card and everything.  They canceled routes from Orland to Milwaukee and did not noitify me.  When I sent an email well over a month ago they were too busy to answer.  It took American 3 days of trying before they could get in touch with them to rebook the ticket.  I couldn't even get in the que for 2 days. Today they have a new website that does not work, 70 minutes on the phone. They are busy and cannot answer the phone or emails. Perhaps they should think about how they allocate thier resources.

Midwest is know for flying on time, being friendly, lots of leg room, rare cancelations, and non-stop flights.  Their slogan of The Best Care in the Air is not a joke.  I am currently focusing on flying only Midwest or SWA out of Kansas City.  American Airlines is a joke, and airlines like United, Continental and Delta are too darn expensive.

I have flown Midwest Express several times. They have friendly customer service, nice planes, easy check-in,. and good prices. They do not fly to as many destinations as some of the ;arger companies but they go where I need to go! I would use them again and always search for their rates first since they are so easy to deal with.

Their planes are comfortable, service is good, food is reasonably priced for what you get, cookies!, business class amenities at coach prices.  If the route permits, this is the only airline I fly.  The only down side is that because they are not large, they don't get priorty into some airports.

i recently bought an airline ticket threw the company "midwest". (on 8-22-2009) all was well until i started receving e-mails concerning my flights, i got 5 of these e-mails!! the first 4 e-mails were about a change in my flight and that i had to make other arrangments to get to my destination...finally the last e-mail i recived (10-3-2009) was an e-mail stating the my flight was no longer available (for a travel date of 11-27-2009). so i contacted the airline company and they told me that there was nothng that they could do and that "this kinda thing happends all the time". they gave me NO reason...

Perhaps my headline sounds very cliche but I've never been more serious in my life.We were flying out of Kansas City heading to Nashville. We boarded the plane and then it was announced that we were short a flight attendent and that we'd be delayed for "15 min". BS! We sat on the runway for 2 hours! Obviously the airline was not properly prepared for the flight and instead of being truthful to us they continued to lie about how long it was going to be til we took off. At one point we were told that a flight attendant had showed up (the whole plane exploded into applause) only to be told 5 min...

Midwest Airlines is a great airline to use.  I never had any problems with this airlines, except on time I was on a small airplane.  Even then, the trip was excellent.  The airlines has great customer service.  The customer service greet and treat passengers well.  I enjoyed riding on the airlines.  I was completely comfortable.  The customer service tried hard to make me feel comfortable, while traveling.  The planes offered comfortable seats and much space.  If the plane was offering meals, the customer service did not miss the meals.  while purchasing the airline tickets, I had all...
