Midwest Airlines Review

Perhaps my headline sounds very cliche but I've never been more serious in my life.We were flying out of Kansas City heading to Nashville. We boarded the plane and then it was announced that we were short a flight attendent and that we'd be delayed for "15 min". BS! We sat on the runway for 2 hours! Obviously the airline was not properly prepared for the flight and instead of being truthful to us they continued to lie about how long it was going to be til we took off. At one point we were told that a flight attendant had showed up (the whole plane exploded into applause) only to be told 5 min later that she didn't bring her ID so she couldn't get through security!!!! I was one of the lucky ones that made my connecting flight in Milwaukee but others had to catch a BUS to Green Bay because they missed their connecting flights. But oh.. we got 2 cookies instead of one. So that made it all better right. Please!!As if that wasnt bad enough coming back from Nashville we were delayed in Milwaukee for ......2 hours!!! We waited for a connecting flight that was delayed. Again we were told over and over it would only be a "couple min" before we were going to take off. I guess lieing to the passangers to cover up  their mistakes is common practice for Midwest. Not only that but the flight attendants seemed to find it amusing that people were upset. They smirked and laughed while we waited. I aked for a refund which I was very rudely denied after being ignored for a month. They refused any compensation. I guess the extra cookies were "good enough". Never again.
