I fly a lot for business, and usually have to fly the big carriers. However, when my budget (or a sale) permits me to fly Midwest, I do. The customer service is incredible; they actually will do their best to get you when you need to go. Two stories stand out:
1. I was late to the terminal for a flight, and I was told matter of factly that I should have been earlier. No rudeness, no Al Gore-sighing, no forcing me off the flight. That's my rudest experience--which compares to my nicest experience on other carriers.
2. I was delayed out of Milwaukee once because our flight had a couple of passengers whose flight into MKE was delayed. Yes, that's right--they held a flight 10-15 min so that their customers didn't have to go through the hassle of missing a connection.
Overall, when I fly Midwest, I trust that I will be taken care of, even when operations are abnormal. Even their "long" TSA lines in Milwaukee seem to move faster than the ones for Northwest!
