We all know how soft pantyhose are right? Get your minds out of the gutter and focus here!! Now that I have your attention......As I was saying they are soft but no matter how soft your hands are you feel just a little bit of grabbing at your skin when you rub on them. That is the same feeling you get from these towels!

Microtex Micro Fiber Cleaning Towels

These towels measure 14" x 14" and they come 8 to a pack in blue and white. You can apply with one color and wipe with the other, nice way to keep them separate. These worked great when I was polishing my chrome on my bike. Usually you would use a round soft pad such as you wax your car with but with all the small nooks to polish that was not an option.

I was able to get into all the tight spots around the engine, pipes and front forks with out a lot of problems. Wiping it back down was just as easy and the polish came off without a lot of pressure being applied. It brought out a nice rich shine but didn't bring out the sweat in me...lol

I also used these to wipe down the seats as well as my leather jacket with very good results on both. Washing these is simple as you just pop them in the washer with the temperature on warm, no softener and dry on the low heat setting in your dryer. They come out clean and fresh, ready to be used again. I would say these would also work good for cleaning windows.

They also clean well either wet or dry according to the manufacturer and I agree as I used them to wipe down my bike yesterday to get the dew off before I took it out for a short ride.

Bottom Line

These cost me about $4 for all 8 of them and I have to say I really like them. You can see all the small little pockets in them and after each use the dirt and stuff they are able to trap. They did a wonderful job of shining up my bike, helped clean the seats and my jacket without a lot of work on my part. They are easy to wash and come out of the dryer looking good. I now have a great product to help me keep my bike looking good and that makes me happy!

Sounds like a great idea! I bet that bike is so shiny, you have to wear shades to look at it!
