I think Xbox 360 can be a great family fun product or fun for just the average gamer. There are a lot of game options for young and older. Although I sometimes feel there are more negatives than positives. We had many problems with our Xbox 360 and had to have it sent in three times I believe it was. I first recieved the xbox 360 about 3 years ago for Christmas.   I immediately fell in love with all that it can do.  the graphics are phenomonal, better than the PS3.   I have played many games on it, my favorite being the call of duty games and the smackdown games.  I am currently playing Batman: Arkham Asylum and it is an incredible experience so far.   So far I have been spared the "red ring of death" and I hope it remains that way. i was very impressed  with the quality of the gaming systems graphics as well as the systems speed.  the selection of games is also very good. I didn't have any problems running the system or any complaints except the after i had had the system a while i found the it suddenly started freezeing up and there was a red ring where it used to be green. I found out this was called "the red ring of death" and also that it was common with the system. unfortunately i bought the system used so it was not under warranty and found that it would cost me about the same amount that i paid for it (200 dollars)...
