I am glad I bought the Zune over any other media player. I looked at a lot of media players before I made my decision. I have a baby who was in the pediatric intensive care unit for a long time. I looked at the iPod, Zen, PSP and a couple of others I can't think of off the top of my head. I'm not a gamer, so I didn't need that feature. The reason I was considering the PSP is that it has a nice screen and I wanted something I could watch movies on. The Zune was in my price range and did what I wanted. The one thing I have recently been disappointed in is that I couldn't put podcasts on it. On Nov. 13 Zune updated the software and now I can put podcasts on my Zune. I have the add-ons so I can play it in the car and hook it up to my TV. Something I was shocked about, that I tried recently; I hooked it up to a 52 inch TV and the quality of the picture was just as good as it is on my 32 inch TV. The one down side is that it is a little heavy. It is thicker than some other media players I have seen, but that is not always a con. I have an acrylic case for it in addition, but it makes me feel that it will hold up a little better to some abuse.
