Microsoft - Zune (80GB) Media Player —
My dad and my sister both own iPods. I desperately wanted one of my own, until I saw the the newest product on the market at the time: the Microsoft Zune."Holy cow, look at that screen," I thought. As a photographer and budding home video editor, it definitely peaked my interest. Not to mention that I have a broad musical field that I listen to, so the fact that it toted 30gb of space, it seemed this was the mp3 player for me.
At the time, Zune was working out a few little bugs in it's intial installation, but the customer service people were very helpful and it was worth the wait. Once I got everything up and running, I was so excited to load up my Zune with all of my videos and photos, and a mass amount of music, too.
Some features I love include:
The menu is user friendly to navigate, even though friends do tend to attempt the "click-wheel move" they're all so used to on an iPod. I can set my background on the Zune to any of my photos, or choose from some of the preloaded options. I can share tracks and photos with my other Zune friends using the "Wireless" capability. And speaking of wireless, I can sync my Zune without being plugged into the computer.
To date, my Zune (The Original 30gb) holds 652 songs,566 pictures and 10 vidoes and has only used 3 gb of space, which I still find amazing. I add and delete music, videos and photos all the time, so the ease of wiping my Zune clean of everything on it's hard drive is great. Cause life brings change... shouldn't your mp3 device be ready for it?
