Microsoft - Zune 80GB Digital Media Player Review Summary
For individuals who want a large amount of storage and multi- media capabilities, reviewers recommend the
Microsoft Zune 80GB Digital Media Player. This media player offers not only the ability to record thousands of songs, it also offers the ability to view videos and other media entertainment. Reviewers like the vast storage space and the slick design, but some are not too crazy about the cumbersome software. “Love the Device, Hate the Software”, is how one reviewer puts it. These factors make the Microsoft Zune 80GB Digital Media Player a pretty good
MP3/Media Player for those who want a device with lots of storage space.

a music lover!, somewhat tech savvy, computer literate, eclectic in tastes, hard to impress, a bargain hunter, a fan of good music, loving this product
Before I give my review of the Zune 80GB Digitial Media Player, I should say up front that I have always been averse to joining the iPod craze. Perhaps its the non-conformist gene in me, but the anointed coolness of the iPod franchise has always seemed to cause Apple to take for granted its sales and skip the part where they make sure their product meets all the needs of the market. Microsoft hit a home run with me by delivering what I need. — - Wireless connectivity — I can share music without wires with my fiancee while we run or exercise (or…

The Microsoft Zune 80GB media player is expensive, yes. Is bigger than the Ipod, yes. Is made by The Evil Empire, yes. (I know, there are lots of Evil Empires. I'm talking about the one in Redmond.) But there are a lot of things to recommend this player over the Ipod: — — - It sounds great, better than an Ipod in my opinion, and I have pretty finely-tuned ears. — - Its N-S-E-W nav pad is easier to operate quickly than Ipod's wheel, particularly when you are on the run and not looking at the device while trying to operate things like volume…

The zune is the best mp3 player on the market today when you look at what you can do with it. this player you can put your music that you have on your computer with the program that you have. There id one thing that I do'nt like about the zune is that the memory is not expandable on the bigger modles and that you have only a few color and accessior items for the…

a music lover!
I originally bought my zune when it first came out. My zune was $250 which is pretty expensive, but it was worth every pennie. I tell everyone who is looking for something to store music, videos, and pictures they should get one. I bought my zune because I accedently broke my i-pod. I would prefer my zune over an i-pod any day. A zune would be an amazing addition to anyones electronic collection.…

This is quite a great deal. The monthly fee for unlimited downloads for music blows apple's itunes out of the water. You can download as much as you want, for a standard fee. You don't have to delete any of your music, nor renew any licenses. If you are in the market for an mp3 player, don't go with apple, go…

The software makes it hard to give this item a good rating, but it in itself, the device is pretty amazing I think. The software makes it very hard (if not impossibly) to do things that should be very easy to do, and should not require reading the instructions to figure…

You can get a very good, pure MP3 player for about HALF the price of Zune. For half the price you also stay free and clear of Microsoft's second-rate online music store, you avoid their nasty DRM format that PREVENTS you from using the music you paid for the way you want to, and you get better usability. — Shop around. Zune has silly features that nobody really uses or needs, shoves hostile DRM policies down your throat, and overcharges you. — Shop before you buy. You'll stay away from Zune too! —…
