Wonderful little player with lots of perks

5

I love this player when I dont want/need to have lots of storage. Its great when working out, the screen looks great, & its even great for kids since it has games on it. Sound Quality Zune always offers some of the best sound quality that I've heard. Performance Never lags, or takes a long time to load. It takes a few seconds to load from being completely turned off, but what mp3 player doesnt? Battery Life I love that the battery lasts for hours, sometimes I plug it up in the car on longer road trips & I never have a problem. Durability Dropped it several times & it keeps right on ticking. I think the metal backing helps with that. Ease of Use The interface is wonderful, I have never had anothing one that was as easy to use, & laid out perfectly. Design the design is right up my alley as it is sleek, but has a touch of color to add personality

I love it

I wanted an MP3 player for a long time my sister had a Zune and she loves it she lives thousands of miles away so I never got the chance to "play around with it" My mom computer illiterate sent me her IPOD to put music on it so I got to play around with that it was OK but wasn't something i felt i NEEDED. So I bought a Zune and I do not regret it at all! I read on their website how to delete music from my computer but still have it on my Zune which I LOVE because then my computer isn't run down with no space.   I love that it has a built in FM Radio, the earbuds do not hurt my ears and most do... Like another person said I've noticed the charge doesn't stick well either. So i've made it part of a routine to charge it every other day I use my zune a few times aday plus in my car sometimes.

I love the Zune

I have had my Zune for a few years now and I like it alot more that the ipod nano I was useing before.  My Zune is green and is 4GB and I am just now close to having it be completely full.  It does not come with a cd.  When you are installing it all you have to do is plug it in.  Much easier than having to install itunes for an ipod.  The Zune menu holds all your songs on your Zune and songs that are just on your computer.  You can also burn and rip cds on the Zune menu.  On the Zune menu you can access Zune marketplace.  The Zune itself is small.  It is easy to scroll through.  But if you scroll fast it will past where you want to go.  You can put pictures and videos onto it.  There is a radio.  Since it is an old model you can find them for cheaper.  It will get scratched up so I would put a screen protector on it and buy a case for it.  I have only seen cases for the 4GB zunes at Target.  You can also connect it with an x-box 360

Microsoft Zune 4G Review

3

This is my review on the Microsoft Zune 4G. This piece of technology is less than I would expect from Microsoft, it is little, but still easy to use, but does not quality to is. It breaks very easel, and has a very picky headphone jack that is hard to get the right angle for the headphones. Another thing that is not that bright about it is that it can only be used on Windows Vista & XP.And this last response will have concluded my review, overall, this is a bad buy for the average user but a decent buy to somone who takes care of there mp3 players.

Microsoft Zune 4GB Flash Media Player

This mp3 player is a nice alternative to the Apple iPods. It is generally cheaper if you look in the right places. The Zune is only compatible with the Zune software but the software is actually very intuitive. Syncing is very easy with the software. You can also wireless sync your Zune. The device has a FM radio built in which allows you to scan and listen to your local stations. The Zune's input pad is touch sensitive yet you can physically click each side to navigate your Zune. The device will come with five optional games if you choose to have them. It has checkers, Hexic, sodoku, some Ikaragu-type game, and texas holdem poker. If you have a friend with a zune, you can play some these games with them over the built in wi-fi connection. The LCD is very nice as it is glass and the build quality of the Zune is solid. The player can also sync video files, pictures, and pocasts. The battery will last for more than 12 hours if you keep the brightless low and volume at a reasonable level.

A solid MP3 player for an active person

I have owned my Zune 4GB player for a couple of years now and it has served me well.  I am constantly on the go and like to listen to music while I jog, bike, and exercise at the gym.  My Zune 4GB accommodates all of those situations wonderfully and has been reliable too.  The size is amazingly small while still having a bright and nice looking display.  I love how it shows the album covers of what you're listening to.  The interface is very intuitive if not a little rigid.  I was not a very thrilled about having to use the Zune software since my previous MP3 players allowed me to just drag and drop within Windows Explorer to manage my files.  The Zune software has emproved over time though and I'm ok with it now.  It's a little annoying at times when you're elsewhere and the PC doesn't have the Zune software installed.  The sound quality is great though and the battery lasts me a couple of days on a charge.  Another negative is the lack of equalizer.  I really disliked this as I like to tweak the sound on my music.  I have learned to live with it though and it's not as big of a deal now.  I am not a big Apple/iPod fan, so Zune is the best MP3 player option in my opinion.

Near-pink perfection

My first foray into Mp3 players was a tiny iPod Shuffle, so when I decided to upgrade, I wanted something classy and sleek, and that I could watch video on. After comparing the Microsoft Zune and Apple iPod 4GB models, I selected a pink Zune, and I loved this device from the moment I got it. It was easy to operate, easy to navigate and held a charge for seemingly forever. When the only bad thing you can say is that the earbuds were too big for small ears like mine, you know you have a good product. It's a shame that Zune is so overlooked in favor of the iPod, but as someone who now has an iPod (for space reasons) I vastly prefered the operating options on the Zune. The volume trigger on the iPod is way too sensitive, but on the Zune, you had to click the button to get the volume to go up and down, which was great. I loved the shuffle options and the fact that it displayed album cover art with the song. A wonderful product.

I love ZUNE

I had an Ipod for several years and absolutley hated it. It was just to time consuming and complicated to do what I want. I bought a Zune hoping to resolve this problem. I found that I truly love my Zune. It is more functional, more customisable, and just works a million and ten times better than my old, dreaded IPOD. The screen seems to be much clearer and even larger and the ipod. The sound quality is much better. I have yet to fin anything wrong with my zune. I just absolutly love it. I also believe it is easier to operate than the Ipod I had becuse it seemed like it took forever to get what I wanted to do accomplished. I hated that old IPOD. Music lovers rejoice because the Zune 4GB is a dream come true. I would like to reccomend the ZUNE 4GB to anyone who wants high quality sound and musical perfection. If you want any easier option to the IPOD then I would go for the ZUNE because of it's many features.

I LOVE ZUNES

To be brutally honest, I am really not a fan of Apple products. I had an iPod prior to owning this Zune, and it was very convenient to use, but there seemed to be a lot of stuff that iPods lacked for such an expensive little gadget. The iPod Nano that I owned had no radio, a very poor photo viewer, and an inablilty to customize itself to show your "creative" side. I bought a Zune after my iPod ran on its last (battery) legs and was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the home screen customization as well as the little touch button that resembled a track pad on a laptop (except for the fact that you had to push the button to select). The fact that it had a radio wasn't really necessary, but it was a bonus. Also, the Zune still managed to stay fairly slim and quite stylish. I purchased the black model and was very satisfied with what I bought. It's priced very nicely, and I loved its ability to send music from Zune to Zune as well as the Wi-Fi that it came with (for syncing wirelessly) My only qualm the lack of an equalizer and the fact that the battery wasn't as long lasting as I had hoped. Still, it was a nifty little gadget and I would definitely pick a Zune again over an iPod.
