Most HelpfulI purchased my Zune on sale at Target when it was insanely cheap for the 30GB and a car audio kit. The Zune integrated right into my audio folders on my computer which was great because I have used Media Player as the software to play and organize my music for years. Everything transferred over without...
review »I recieved a Zune when I turned 18. I had heard about them, I knew that had a catchy commercial, but figured they were just an Ipod knock off. I couldnt havent been more wrong While the Zune is a music player and you can have different playlists, much like an Ipod, you can also share music which other Zune listeners, there is a radio on the Zune. I believe that they are much easier to use, and the software included with them are much more user friendly!
The Zune is a good MP3 player, however it does have it's drawbacks. My favorite feature (apart from the amount of memory) is the screen size. I don't remember the exact dimensions but ipods make me feel like I need an even higher prescription for my glasses. I won't make too many ipod comparisons as I do not have one, and have never used one. Functionality is great, pretty basic, but it will let you set any of your stored pictures as your background. Gotta love Microsoft for giving you the fluff that isn't necessary but is enjoyable. So far I've been limited as to what I can put on the player but...
review »I have to say that I got my 30g Zune as a gift, however, even if I had paid for it with my own hard earned cash I would feel the same way about it, which is to say that I love love love the thing.
Zune doesn't produce the 30g anymore, and I can't figure out why. It's the perfect size for me, I hardly have 30g worth of stuff, much less 80 or 120g. The 4, 8, and 16 are too small, so the 30 is just right.
Mine is white, and despite only having a case for the last 4 months or so, it looks excellent. Is not a stain magnet and cleans well with a soft cloth.
I have always used a screen protector, so...
review »The 30 GB Microsoft Zune is a great Mp3 player that rivals IPod. They cost about the same, and with its large screen and storage capacity, it's a great take-a-long item. It is large and somewhat bulky, but the Zune allows you to view videos, photos, music, podcasts, play their selected games, and manage all the inventory through their program. That is however one downfall of Zune. They almost force you to buy music through their site. It is a great site to find exactly what you're looking for, and 79 cents per song (most songs) is not a bad deal. I have also found that Zune does not...
review »Well first off, I'll say this. When i first got my Zune for christmas a few years ago, I absolutely hated it. I wanted one for so long, and when i finally got it, I was so excited. But after having to download soo many add-ons and having installation problems for almost 4-5 days, I was so over it. The Zune customer service people were completely useless. I kept getting these stupid error messages when it tried to download and the employees pretty much didn't even know what the messages meant. Finally, i called my friends brother, and i knew he also had a Zune, and eventually he got it to work....
review »I searched and read a lot of reviews before deciding which MP3 to buy. The big seller for me was the large screen. If you plan on watching movies on zune, which I highly recommend, the screen is awesome. The quality and sound is very good. Right now I have about 2,000 songs and 30 movies on my 30 gig zune and there is space still available. Another really great thing about the zune is that you can continue to update your zune even if you have an older version. They have already come out with newer versions after mine, but I still get to have the latest software even if I have an older...
review »The Zune (30GB) was a bargain at $99 at Christmas 2007. I have been allowed free updates of the software on the device and it is up to date. At Zune.net, Zune owners were encouraged to request the features we wanted on the new software updates. Most of the features that we proposed were included in the upgrade (a clock, games, ability to turn off after each program or to run continuously). I like the old time radio shows and at Zune marketplace I download hundreds of them from the podcasts offered "free". There are also many video podcasts offered free.
As for music, the supply...
review »I bought my Zune right after Thanksgiving when they first came out. It's one of the best investments I've ever made. I only paid one hundred dollars. Now they are close to two hundred. The Zune is great. I don't buy music from the music place but I download it offline. It's cool that you can send music clips to your friends. The Zune is basically the same as an ipod but ipods malfunction sometimes if you don't have an apple computer. Also on itunes once your account is gone, everything is lost forever. You don't lose your music on the Zune. There is a monthly newsletter that is pretty cool. Sometimes...
review »I got the 30G Zune for Christmas last year. So far I have seen no flaws in the mp3 player. I used to own an Ipod, but that broke on me within two months, so I personally like the Zune much more than Ipods. Zunes are much cheaper and from what I have found can do as much if not more than what Ipods are capable of. I have added a ton of songs and I have not even made a slight dent in the storage size (I barely filled up 1G, that includes a few videos too.) I have tried the games that come with the system. I was not blown away by any of them, but for free games they are not too bad. I still sometimes...
review »The microsoft Zune is not up to my standards. First of all, the headphones that came with it were a rip off. They did look very nice, but they broke within a week. the 30 gig zune is also very large-- it does not even fit in my pocket, and it is also very heavy. the zune software takes FOREVER to load and the marketplace (where you buy songs) does not have as many songs as itunes does. The sync (download) aspect is also VERY slow, and sometimes the sync randomly deletes some of my stuff. after about a month of using a song or video, your zune will say "usage rights have expired for this item" and...
review »I have had my Zune 30 mp3 player for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I have my whole library of music downloaded on it. I also down load pod casts that I enjoy listening to while excercising. It has decent size buttons on the front that are easy to use. It is easy to navigate to the different choices on the menu whether it is music, podcasts, games, pictures, or videos. The one thing I really like about it is the large amount of giga byte space that it has. This has allowed me to download over 500 songs on it, a dozen or so shows that I have recorded off of my computers dvr...
