Microsoft - Zoo Tycoon for Windows Reviews

The Verdict - I'm a huge fan of the Tycoon games.  I have several different types but my all time favorite is the original Zoo Tycoon.  I got the more recent version of this for Christmas and it's way too confusing for me.  I like the original version best.

Just the Facts - This game is so much fun.  You can set up all types of zoos from small to large and set it up any way you wish.  You can landscape them, add benches, walkways, restrooms, restaurants, lighting, zookeepers, maintenance staff, and pretty much anything you'd find in a real zoo. 

Setting up the animal habitats is fun but...

Zoo Tycoon is a pretty fun game for those people who like to "play god" and enjoy simulation games like Sim City and/or the Sims.

In Zoo Tycoon, the object is to make the ultimate, functional zoo. Many aspects are true to life in this game, if you don't treat the animals right your ability to purchase more animals will be revoked until you make conditions better for the animals you currently have. Sometimes this can be a bit tricky, but if you pay attention to what your zookeeper is telling you, figuring out which terrains, etc to use should be a snap!
