You say anything in a message or in an online chat that can be considered offensive to the far left crowd its a ban sometimes its 7 days sometimes it a perm ban and they ban the console too. A friend of mine literally got banned for sending a 1 word message that said ''Noob'' Then they take your money and don't provide you with the service. They claim what you do is against their TOS but they keep their TOS extremely vague so they can get away with

The concept itself is great. It's wonderful to be able to connect online, access a gaming profile on someone else's console, download games, etc. But X-box live is ridiculously overpriced. They offer a wide variety of apps (mlb.tv, redbox, internet access, etc), but they want you to pay a monthly access fee to be able to use them. Our dvd/blueray player that cost less than half of what the X-box costs includes most of the same apps for free. As long as we bought the player and have an Internet connection, then we can access the rest of the apps. But Microsoft wants you to pay a lot for the console, and then pay an ongoing subscription fee to be able to access many of the things that they promote the console for doing. It's a great idea to include those things, but it is simply a money grab for them to make the most money out of it. I understand that their goal is to make money, but they should keep the system in line with what other companies have.

Xbox live is the great service that is required for many great features on the xbox 360 and xbox One. Many people have complained that it is not free like it is on the Playstation 3. All I have to say is I am happy to pay for a reliable service. It is never down and always working extremely well and earns me access to many free streaming options. I recommend this service.

I have had an Xbox Live gold membership for as long as I have had my Xbox. I think it is necessary to have to be able to fully enjoy your gaming console and games. This allows you to play online with other people and to connect to your friends and play with them. It also allows you to connect to them and be able to talk while you are playing. Having Xbox Live turns your console into more than just a gaming product. It allows you to surf the internet and watch shows on sites such as YouTube and Netflix. I would not have nearly as much fun playing my games if I didn't have the online access that Xbox Live provides for me. I always buy the twelve month membership each time and just use the renewal cards when my membership is about to expire. But Xbox also allows you to renew through the console, which is probably more convenient for most people. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes my internet access is slow or I will disconnect from my friends while I am playing. But even with these problems I will always continue to get my Xbox Live membership.

Xbox live. That's all there is to say. Haha, but really xbox live is a great investment for any of you guys who want to have fun and get the best bang to your buck. Let me start off by saying that I have xbox live, and I love it! I get to game with all my friends and even meet new ones! With xbox live gold come perks. You get to use the apps silver members cant use. Some of these apps include netflix, huluplus, and youtube. Another perk is that you get to talk to your friends in parties, and actually play in online games. Some people only get xbox live to use the apps, but that's ok. It's totally up to you on what you use it for. Now as much as I love it, there are a few downfalls. The main one is pay to play. You have to pay to play online each month. If you're looking for free I suggest you stop reading here and go play the ps3. Another downfall is that you have to pay to change your name (Gamertag). Don't worry though, your first one is free! Other than those two minor details, the xbox live is great! Go play now!
