This console changes gaming in lots of aspects. From the creative interface through the strongly vibrating controllers. The Original Xbox has amazing graphics for it's time being. It has introduced several strong First Person Shooters as well as other very successful franchises such as Halo,. The console has LOTS of memory for all of your gaming needs and would last you a long time until all of the memory on the console has been used up. You can store music on the console by placing a disc and then the console will save the same songs and same music that was located on the cd. You can even watch movies. Graphics Quality The time it came put, the Original Xbox marked lots of benchmarks in gaming from the very smooth 3d graphics from video games such as Halo Combat Evolved to the famous racing franchise, Forza Motor Sport. Game Variety There is a huge library of games for the Original Xbox from Rpgs to Fps's , to racers. Controller Comfort The controller may be big and bulky for some, but it is very nice and vibrates very well. Ease of Use Very easy to use with a very easy interface. Durability This console will last you years and years. The older it gets the harder it may be able to then read discs though. Xbox live online gaming is no longer supported for this console.

Its my all time favorite console. I'll never get rid of it. There are tons of games for it that still can be found for it. I would recommend it for anyone who is on a budget. I like the feel of the controllers and their responsiveness. I also love the styling and design of the console itself. That big X is just cool looking. Not only is it a game player but I love using it as a CD and DVD player (remote sold separately). I'm still having a hard time filling up the 8 gig hard drive with game info and music downloaded from CD's. To me its an entertainment center must have. Graphics Quality Though they don't compare to this generations graphics it still amazing to look at. Game Variety There are ton's of games available for the Xbox both new and used. Controller Comfort I love the way my hands mold around the control and the placement of the buttons. Ease of Use Its really easy to use and to figure out what to do right out of the box. Durability 10 years and still kicking.

Ok, Ive had an xbox for about eight years now, And ive never ever ever!!! had any problems with it. The xbox has great games, with great graphics, its easy to navagate and the controller is really cool! The only problem is the stopped making games for the original xbox :( It made me realy mad, because i really enjoyed the xbox and was looking forward to some new games. One of my FAVORITE games for the xbox would have to be Madden 08. Thats about the newest game i have for it! Other than they stopped making games for it, The xbox is an amazing gaming console, i havent upgraded to the 360 yet but im hoping that it will be just as good! I would recomend the xbox console, to someone looking for a cheap and fun gaming sonsole, or someone who likes older games! I dont really play it anymore because of the fact there are no new games for it! I would reccomend the Wii Over the xbox just because of the newer games

I've had my original xbox since it first came out.  There are so many cool games available at this point for the xbox because it has been out for such a long time.  One of the best parts about the xbox is that all the games are very cheap because now there is the xbox 360 which is the newer system.  Just because there is a newer system does not mean that the original xbox isnt worth anything.  There are great games on the original xbox that were not duplicated for the 360, so its worth it to hang on to that original xbox because you might want to play a game that is not available on 360. You can actually store MP3 music files in the built in hard drive of the original xbox.  You are able to playback your music very easily from the main dashboard. I like that it is alot quieter than the white xbox 360 as far as sound coming from the conscole.  It has a slight humming sound but mostly just a light whisper. ITs a great system and worth having one in your home.

The presentation of the Xbox does look pretty cool, black and green. The console is the most technologically superior out of its competitors (Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube), having better graphics and frame rates than the other two. Controllers work fine, they have two thumbsticks (right and left), two triggers (right and left), a D-pad, 4 main buttons (A, B, X, and Y), two side buttons (white and black), and two menu buttons (start and select). It also has a big emblem in the middle of it confirming that it is indeed for the Xbox. It has a good library of games such as Halo or Dead or Alive 3. Though the biggest flaw for the Xbox would be it's noise. Perhaps it's just my unit, but the Xbox makes an awful lot of noise, similar to the sound that you would hear when someone is trying to get on the internet with dial-up. Every so often some of the games I'm playing on the Xbox just freeze. Some slight inconsistencies with disc reading, even sometimes not recognizing a disc at all.

for this being a older game console its pretty good. although the controllers are not wireless but you can still buy the online access card to play online. the graphics arent all that good probaly from it being the older style console. the controllers are thick which is very good. nice and comfortable in your hand.

I am a recreational gamer and have been a faithfull X-Box user for three years. In my opinion the X-Box is easy to use and offers the best on-line services I've seen so far.The X-Box has many great features that make it uncomparible to any other system. The X-Box has a great selection of titles, including the Halo franchise. The X-Box also has great graphics quality, the images are very realistic and lifelike.It provides excellent access to on-line video streaming, along with offering a wide selection of gaming network options. A major pro- being able to download full games easily on-line. Another positive aspect of the X-Bow is that it has a removable hard-drive making upgrading easy for all.The X-Box also has a better shaped controller, allowing for more onscreen maneuvering. My major complaint would be that it runs rather noisily which can be distracting at times. When it comes to gaming the  X-Box is still my favorite!
