Very good specs for its time, but its bulky and requires you to purchase extra things for playing dvds. The power of an old PC a 733MHz Intel processor, 64MB of RAM, and a custom Nvidia graphics board. This thing was pretty good for its time however the ps2 dominated it. This thing was the platform for the xbox 360, and it didn't do that good compared to the ps2, which is sad. Graphics Quality Best graphics for its time, and deserves more credit. Game Variety Very good games such as halo and dead or alive 3, this thing is a must have. Controller Comfort I personally didn't like how the remote fit my hand and how the buttons fit it. But thats just me. There remotes were improved in the xbox 360 though. Ease of Use Fairly simple to use not much to it, like most video game consoles. Durability Like I said this thing was bulky, however I thought it was built to last, it was very durable for me. This thing also weighed 8 pounds which is quite a bit, and I think weight has a good indicator on its durability.

It was comparable to other consoles but held the edge in most areas. However, this console lead the way for the online gaming community in my opinion. The ability to play with your friends on popular game titles such as Call of Duty, Halo, etc. made this THE console to have and gained gross popularity in the gaming world. My son and I spent HOURS playing COD on those classic maps such as Town Square and meeting people from across the country. The controls were great, interface good but a little wonky at times, and game title phenomenal! Graphics Quality For it's time, the graphics for this console were above the competition. If not ground breaking, certainly pioneering the way for how consoles would be shaped in the future. Titles were expected to meet the challenges of conquering the systems capabilities and even surpassing it at times. Game Variety I don't believe any other system since the NES had as many GREAT game titles with as much depth and playability. I've owned the NES, SNES, Gamecube, PS1, XBox and CPU gaming and believe Xbox not only brought great titles to the forefront, but kept the 3rd rate B movie type games off of the shelves. Too many times console markets are flooded with ridiculous games with no concept or depth. Controller Comfort It was a weird controller at the time, not unlike the Nintendo wonky versions. But it played better than the out-of-the-box styles. The layout took some getting used to but proved to be a winning formula compared to other platforms. Ease of Use The interface was a little goofy at times, but for the most part this was a great system. The consoles today have too much "media" feel to them where you get lost in just playing games. For a gamer, this was a great and simple platform. Durability We still have ours, and it still works. Nothing more to say!

How could you not have fallen in love with the Xbox when it came out? It was groundbreaking regarding video game consoles and always held in high regards. Graphics Quality The graphics for the original Xbox are not all that terrible, granted the system came out way back when. It doesnt make gaming on this masterpiece any less enjoyable Game Variety Shoot em up games, to barbies dollhouse, the Xbox is a perfect gaming console for all ages. Controller Comfort Although somewhat bulky, their are smaller controller alternatives Ease of Use Simplicity.
