Usually when a big gaming company releases a new controller for their consoles it's no big deal. Take that lame the Playstation2 pack in pad for example; it was pretty much the same controller as the Playstation1 Dual Shock controller but now you had to paid more money for it now. Microsoft wanted to do something special if gamers purchased the Premium Xbox 360 package though because it came with a fun new wireless 360 pad with a bunch of exclusive features. Is it any good though you ask?

First thing first; although the wireless pad comes free with the Xbox 360 Premium pack (well kinda free, the...

Wireless controllers for my game console (X Box 360) have become a priority for me! It's so much more convenient than having the wires run across the floor. It's also great because I have a small dog (Chihuahua mix) who loves to chew on everything! If my boyfriend forgets to put the controller away, i don't have to worry about the dog being able to chew the wires. It's a complete hazard having the cords laying around. The only problem we have had, is forgetting to recharge the controllers. It's very rare they need charging, but if you don't charge them and the battery dies, it will shut off in...

We have seen the pictures and had a few opportunities to play with the controller in its wired version, but this is the first time that we’ve had a wireless controller to take a thorough look at.

One of the things that we noticed when we grabbed the wireless Xbox 360 controller for the first time is how weightless it is, even with the batteries inserted. It is hard to believe until you hold each controller, but the truth is that the Xbox 360 wireless controller (with batteries) is lighter than the Xbox Controller S.

We can’t imagine how Microsoft found a way to make the previous controller...

This is the best gaming controller ever invented, by far!  First off right out of the gate its cordless.  Add in the long life of the batteries and its already almost perfect.  But that wasn't enough.  This thing turns on/off the 360! Its got the rumble pack and its got a good feel to it.  Of course lots of folks say they cost a lot, but I say its an investment.  I've had mine since the 360 came out and no problems so far.  Totally worth the $$.  Besides the games cost more than the controller does and you buy games all the time right?  The only reason i've found to buy more of these is... review »

I have one corded controller and one cordless. I am going to purchase another cordless because the corded one keeps getting tangled, or gets unplugged when my dog passes through. I have already scratched one game by the cord being pulled and shaking the console.  So cordless is definatly the way to go if you want to be able to play your games til the end. I play up to 20 hours a week and I only have to change the batteries once every couple of weeks. There is a great option for plug'n'play so your batteries can charge while you're playing, but with how long the regular batteries last, I don't... review »

Great controller. Fits in your hands perfectly. Never had any problems connecting wirelessly with the console. Right and left buttons are a great add on and much better placed than the old xbox s controllers black and white buttons. Rumble is strong and responsive. Very precise in all buttons and movements... Get a play and charge kit so you don't have to use up AA batteries. Batteries last for quite awhile but you'll eventually pay for it.

The 360 wireless controller is very durable and aslo comfortable. The rumble pack adds much feel as almost if you were in the game. It would take a lot for this controler to break. The 360 wireless controler is much more durable the the PS3 controler in my opinion and much more sleeker the the Nintendo controler. I do wish Microsoft included a rechargable batter built in instead of making it an add on.

comfortable an derible, lots of accessories. 4 colors to choose from and  matching battery packs if you choos the rechargable batteries, comes with 2 actual enegizer batteries! the fact that its wireless means no triping and nor cords to wind up afer your done playing. you can turn the system on and off from the controller also which is nice.

This item is state of the art.  It is so easy to use compared to other controllers for the pther game systems.  The buttons are very easy to remember unlike other controllers that are more complex for the same functions.

I have to say that the Xbox 360 have a very well done controller.  It fits nicely in the hands and the buttons are well placed.  They took the comfort of the Xbox controller and made it wireless out of the box.
