This was what I THOUGHT was going to be a new and exciting game,vastly different from ALL other games,but my sons and I were very disappointed! This is just a slightly newer version (with a remote control) of the 2nd edition with a horribly marked up price!AND FORGET playing the OLD XBOX games! Oh where to start about the beloved XBOX 360... the system in my house is used on a daily basis for 4 hours PLUS, each day. My husband is a huge gamer, he upgraded from the original XBOX as soon as the 360 console came out. When the graphics are paired with a HD tv, they are amazing. I had excellent luck with my original Xbox -noproblems, so I thought I would put out the money for the 360.  Big Mistake!  After about 8 hours of easy going gaming (never more than an hour at a time), the thing started turning off and rebooting.  I called customer service and the guy was nice, but all he could do was put me on hold and read off a manual.  He didn't seem to really know anything.  He decided I should send it in.  We had to wait for the box to arrive, pack it and take it to shipping.  After 3 weeks (and no communication), we got a package and guess what?  It was not my new...

I bought an XBOX 360 in the prime of its existance, and still own the model I purchased. I have no idea what people do to bring out their dreaded "red-ring-of-death", but I assume it is due to lack of proper ventilation. And, I agree that the console does get hot, and that could most definitely lead to hardware failure. I'm giving the XBox a 2 because just about everyone I know who has one has the 3 light problem with their system. The system is AWESOME when it works. Graphics are great, sound quality good, games are fantastic.. But how can anyone enjoy it, when the system keeps breaking down. My system is off for repair so we'll see how it works when it gets back. According to Microsoft, repair time is 3 weeks including shipping time..

I personally think XBox came out too soon because of all the hype and they didn't spend time testing and debugging it. No wonder Wii is so popular.
