I had excellent luck with my original Xbox -noproblems, so I thought I would put out the money for the 360. Big Mistake! After about 8 hours of easy going gaming (never more than an hour at a time), the thing started turning off and rebooting. I called customer service and the guy was nice, but all he could do was put me on hold and read off a manual. He didn't seem to really know anything. He decided I should send it in. We had to wait for the box to arrive, pack it and take it to shipping. After 3 weeks (and no communication), we got a package and guess what? It was not my new Xbox. It was someone else's refurbished older model. For all I know, this is from a household of rabid teenage gamers who ran it to death. I want my new gently used Xbox, but after another marathon hold session, I'm told "contact our legal department, there's nothing customer service can do for you". No supervisor and no recourse. The address? 1 Microsoft way. Why bother? They must get millions of letters a day at the general Microsoft corporate office. I wish I had just bought more PC games. I feel cheated. Stick to buying games for the PC, the Xbox 360 has not been perfected and something will go wrong.
