Ok Halo 3 over all is the best game I ever have played in my 12 year old life. Yes i am 12 years old. Wanna fight bout' it?! Lolz jk.any way HALO 3 is the best out of all it's prtecesors(If that how you spell it=P) I personalycant stand story mode,because of the dumb A.I. but i have to give credit to its story,not bad ,not bad.I play multi-player so NO TIME FOR STORY!!!! but for those of you with sucky iternet connection story is KOOLIO too. To call Halo 3 eagerly anticipated is saying it quite lightly. Thanks to Bungie, the game has been more than worth the wait, and the end result is undoubtedly the best first person shooter to hit the Xbox 360 yet, and maybe ever. Picking up after the cliffhanger ending of Halo 2, Master Chief is in pursuit of the Covenant, who is hell bent and heading to Earth. I'm actually kind of disappointed with this game. This game just wasn't all everything made it out to be, and in my opinion, wasn't worth all the hype. Now, I *LOVED* Halo 2, but Halo 3 was a let-down to me. — The gameplay is great, even the storyline isn't too bad, although it's pretty short. Even the new guns are pretty awesome. Ever since playing Halo 2, I have been waiting for the last part of the series. The first thing that jumped out to me was the graphics. Since it was made with the hardcore gamer in mind, they are by far the best I have seen on the 360 thus far. I also like the level customization mode, which is something my friends and I wanted in Halo 2. The online system could be enhanced, mainly by reducing the price for a membership (i.e., Sony's PS3 online is free) or enhancing the scoring system. As a longtime fan of Bungie (going back to the original Marathon) it's very hard for me to say this, but like HALO2, HALO3 is a letdown. That said, it's a much better game overall than HALO2, so with that out of the way, let's get cracking.CAMPAIGN: In a word, crap. In a sentence: fight your way towards a mission objective, push the button, then fight your way right back out the way you came. Repeat for for 6 to 7 hours. That's it. Overall the game is amazing. Everything that I heard about the game from TV and E3 was just a taste of everything the game has to offer. It has more than enough to keep you busy forever. New weapons, new vehicles, new rankings(multiplayer), unlockable armor (multiplayer), and then some. — — Single Player cannot be compared to anything else. For those knowledgeable about the Halo universe, this review is not for you. Most likely you already own and have your opinion on Halo 3 so I am writing this for the rest of the crowd. — Campaign - the campaign provides nice gameplay and manageable objectives on the Normal setting (if you go to legendary you'll probably want help). Excellent multiplayer capability. Eight on eight action is fantastic. Would recommend for anyone who has an Xbox 360. Easy to join multiplayer action, plus storyline is very good as well for single person play. I also think the coop action is extremely good too. At times it seemed the enemies to kill were almost too numerous, but if it was too easy it would not be any fun at all. The new vehicles also add a new level to the game. I only wish the ATV was equipped with weapons, as the only way to do any damage is to run over the enemy. The add on maps are a bit expensive, but you don't… read full review »

This is just an amazing game. Even though Halo 2 was such a great game, Halo 3 is just so much better. The graphics are amazing, all the sound effects sound real, the gameplay is really fun and has a big replay value. The Campaign mode is a lot of fun, and has a great story in the background and the end is a big cliffhanger. What really got me about this game is the online multiplayer capabilities. You can customize your Spartan/Elite in so many ways, and there are so many weapons and vast open maps to play in. Halo 3 was an over all good game. The story mode was short lived just like Halo 2. From all the hype I was really expecting much more!!! The online play mode is a lot of fun, but has a drawback when it comes to scoring. If playing in teams if you are on a losing team two or three times in a row you lose rank. If you have players that are not very good stronger players are forced to take on more if they do not want to lose rank. That is one neg I did see, however there are many positives to the game. Awesome game! I don't even know where to start. So much is available to you. Many different gametypes to play, online play, online 4 player co-op, forge, wow so much stuff. The forge is a mode where you can make your own map variants by placing vehicles, weapons, cover, and almost anything you could ever want or think of. Great addition. I've heard that the amount of content (videos, screenshots, game variants, map variants) uploaded to bungie.net has surpassed the amount uploaded to youtube per day.
