I have used some version of Word, Microsoft's flagship word processor, since the release of version 2.0 when the application made the move to the Windows 3.11 environment and my word processor at the time, Word Perfect became, well, imperfect in its now infamous Windows release. That first release of Word for Windows was a straight forward basic word processor, but with each successive release the program has become more and more feature rich; indeed for years, Mac and PC users have faulted Microsoft for piling on more and more features (most of then will go unused by the average user)…

The new Microsoft Office package is much better than older versions. I especially like the OneNote feature, which is helpful for organizing lists and saving print-screened versions of documents and web pages that ought to be printed but seem like a waste of ink. — A few things are important to note about Microsoft Word itself. Sometimes the line spacing can be irritating, but it's easily fixed. The default font is easy on the eyes and much more agreeable than something such as Times New Roman.
