If you have a mouse in the house make it a Microsoft 3000.

To the Point

My husband has never been able to get used to using the touch pads on the computer rather than a mouse. I'm quite proficient at the touch pads and prefer them over a mouse but in comes the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse Model Number 3000. He loves it. I don't but I'll be objective.

A Closer View

The Microsoft Mouse 3000 has a lot to offer.

  • It's small coming in at less than 4 inches long by a little more than 2 inches acros
  • It's very very light weight. You'll find it where we bought ours at amazon for less than $20.00. It comes in lots of pretty colors. Ours is Aloe Green.
  • It has a three year warranty.
  • The middle of it goes in slightly making it very comfortable to use.
  • You can use it whether you are right handed or left handed.
  • It will give you at least 6 months of battery life.
  • The mouse is responsive. I (since I've been using it all day to test it out.) don't have to jiggle it around to find the cursor.
  • Of course the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse Model Number 3000 is wireless. I know I don't need another cable! I just put the receiver into the computer where I would put my flash drive.
Jo's Viewpoint

It's not fair to say I don't like it. As far as mice go this is a really nice one.  Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse Model Number 3000. For me though it isn't something I use.

Sigh...my husband loves it! This is a joint review between Hanna's dad and Hanna's mom (me).

We might be getting this one for our laptop. Thanks, Jo.

In response to Fardreamer's comment from Oct 13, 2008 at 3:03PM:

:) The touch pad (maybe that's not what it's called is the box in front of the keys that I use to move the cursor around and can click right and left. OK we are 1/4 way through Season 6!! Happy reviewing:)

And that was so thoughtful of you - really.

I'm not as Neanderthal as McCain is about computers, but, erm, what's a touch pad?

Also, let me know when you watch Season Four of 24. I want to review it, but I don't want to spoil it for you....

I prefer the touch pad, too. I do have a wireless mouse in case I need it.
