I don't understand. Windows XP was a perfectly reasonable operating system. I know it had it's weaknesses, but I much prefer it over this updated version. — I feel the upgraded security that Vista is trying to provide would be provided by keeping up-to-date virus blockers and security programs. Or find out what it is that Mac and Linux have on keeping out viruses (gasp). — There is some getting used to with the tabs and such provided, but that is not my real complaint, as I don't mind adjusting to change if it is for the better. I have been using Windows Vista for 7 months now. I love the quality of the upgrades from windows XP. While it is quite different, it isn't so much so that it takes an expert to learn to use it. The users manual is detailed and to the point, very thorough. It offers so much more options than XP, and the colors are richer and the graphics are awesome. — The biggest drawbacks I have seen with it are that it asks you to confirm everything, which can be annoying at times, and the biggest problem is that most programs are not compatable with it yet.
