Microsoft Vista Home Premium —

I got Windows Vista Home premium installed when i got my new PC built.  I have had no problems running any applications or games, despite what I have read in other places.  It may be true that Windows Vista is a bit slower on games the XP, but my new computer is so much faster than my old one that I don't notice it personally. There have been some problems with the activations system that required extensive troubleshooting and hours of searching Microsoft support, but I have been able to fix anything that comes up.  I have had the computer with Vista almost 3 months now and am used to it.  There was one other problem, that Vista crashed an would not come back up, which necessitated a complete wipe of the hard drives (I have 1 TB in a RAID 0 configuration) and a clean install of the operating system, along with a few hours of reinstalling every program you own and redoing all the system settings.  This is not a computer I built, but just a popular brand I bought from a store.  But since I know how build a computer from scratch, and configure an operating system, none of that is a big deal.
