I recently purchased a new laptop computer which was pre-loaded with windows vista home version. I have spent hours upon hours with online support only to learn that the software is incompatible with just about every accessory I have. After hours of trouble-shooting, I was finally able to successfully add my color printer, which is only one year old. In order to add the printer, I had to go to a website and download an additional driver. I have a new blackberry phone. I am unable to utilize the bluetooth option due once again to the incompatibility of the phone's software and that of Windows Vista. I have spent no less than 6 hours troubleshooting this incompatibility with the assistance of my wireless provider and the laptop manufacturer's technical assistance department. The ultimate conclusion by both is that the problem lies with Windows Vista. If it weren't for the fact that I would have to start all over with setting up my computer, I would uninstall Vista and install the older version of Windows XP which I never had any of these issues with.
