Microsoft Vista Home Premium Review

Several of my tech friends told me I should upgrade from my Microsoft Me which is on one of my computers to Microsoft Vista Home.  So I bought the Microsoft Vista Home and upgraded.

I found several problems with the Vista operating system. 

1.  It makes my computer sluggish because it takes up more hard drive and more memory to run efficiently. 

2.  It doesn't run some of my older programs efficiently if at all even though they are Microsoft programs. 

3.   It has too many bugs which needed patches applied which means more work.

Now I don't know all that much about operating systems, but Vista Home really isn't worth the money.  I decided to get rid of it and put Microsoft XP on instead.  More money out of pocket for this lesson.  But at least my old programs work and my computer doesn't run slow like it did with Microsoft Vista Home.  Microsoft Vista Home operating system should have been tested more before being offered to the public. 

I won't buy a new computer off the rack now because most only have Vista operating systems now.  I am getting one built by a computer tech instead to upgrade to a duel core processors for my main computer and will not using any Vista till they get all the problems worked out.  I have 4 computers for my in home art business. 

If this is what we are to expect from Microsoft then the company is really going down hill.  I suspect Microsoft wants to make their customers buy newer programs by making the older ones not usable when they upgrade to newer operating systems.  If this is the case (and I am not saying it is) then it is a poor way to do business.
