Ok, so why review something that comes with your computer? Because I would hate to see someone not utilize what they already have. I never used to use Paint because it seemed so juvenile. Recently, however, I've started playing RPG games where you can make banners and such. I've used paint for all of my banners... and I have people asking me to make them some, wondering what program I've used. They are all shocked when I tell them Paint. This nifty little application allows you to resize, rotate, paint, crop, cut, add text, and more. I know this sounds so stupid, but if you play with it for a while, there are so many things you can do that you would be shocked. I'm just asking you, before you go out and buy an expensive program... give Paint a shot.

I haven't used Paint before--thanks for the tip. Cute picture with your son.

Microsoft has a few free apps that come with Windows or are available as a free download. I don't use Paint but do extensively use Microsoft's Movie Maker, which is a freebie video editing application. It's simple and easy, and works great if you view the output on Windows computers. Good review! --Bob

It is a little better than most people give it credit for!

I never use it either. Maybe I should play around with it and see what it offers.
