Can't go back to a normal keyboard. No more carpal-tunnel.

I bought this to prevent carpal tunnel. It works. The wrist pad is very comfortable. I got used to the split design very quickly, and haven't looked back.

This is one of the most ergonomic keyboards you can get -- it's the best of Microsoft's Natural (ergonomic) Keyboards.  Besides the split keyboard that is obvious from the picture on the box, it slopes down from the spacebar to the function keys, not up like most keyboards.  If you have never had a keyboard like this, it takes time to get used to it, but it's worth the effort.  It is very easy on the arms and hands.

I've owned 4 of these Microsoft 4000 Ergonomic Keyboards now. I love the keyboard, that's why I bought 4 but they are somewhat problematic (or at least they can be). The first 3 I bought each had the same problem. Some of the keys required multiple pressings or sometimes outright pounding before they worked. So it took 4 keyboards before I got one that worked properly and I have to admite that it was worth the trouble. The features on this keyboard are top notch.
