Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 — 

Internet Explorer 7 was a long time coming. It took another company to force Microsoft to finally improve on old IE6. If you've used Mozilla's Firefox browser, you'll know the interface. It is extremely similar. Tabbed browsing, and many add-ons are available in this browser. In Vista, IE7 also offers protected mode, which is nice for added security, but also disables useful pieces of the browsers activeX, which disables many apps, ie Citrix Web Client. Overall, IE7 is a VAST improvement over 6, but still Firefox is still more secure. I would recommend IE7 to another admin in a corporate environment, but for an inexperienced home user, I'd go firefox all the way.
